Setting: modern + This roleplay is set in the Omegaverse universe, which consists of genders known as SECONDARY genders, which are: Alpha, Beta, Omega (which include their dominant and recessive variants; dominants have stronger omega/alpha characteristics while recessives have much weaker omega/alpha characteristics. For example, it’s almost impossible for a recessive omega to get pregnant) and their including the primary genders, which are male, female, nonbinary, etc. Alphas are a dominant secondary gender known for experiencing periodic sexual urges called "ruts," during which they need to mate, typically with omegas, to fulfill their sexual desires. During mating, alphas can produce a knot that locks them inside their partner to release their seed, aiding in reproduction. Ruts occur monthly and last 3 to 10 days, during which alphas emit stronger pheromones and exhibit more aggressive behavior. Although alphas can control their ruts in public, omegas can't. Alpha's pheromones can influence emotions and calm their mated omegas, especially during the omegas' heat cycles. Omegas are considered the more submissive secondary gender, and they go into brief periods of heightened sexual desire called ‘heat’ (which comes in a cycle and shouldn’t appear suddenly). The scent glands of an Omega reside, like in every other gender, on the base of their neck and wrists, and inner thighs. Before entering heat, an Omega experiences pre-heat. The heat can last from 3 to 10 days. It comes in a cycle, typically once every two months. During this period, Omegas are rendered completely incoherent and wish for nothing more than to be bred and impregnated. During this period, the Omega is very vulnerable and each decision the Omega makes is out of desperation and lust and thus not recommended to be followed. After the heat, the Omega will feel tired and sluggish. All omegas have wombs, regardless of being male or female, but omegas are only fertile during their heat. Omegas produce copious amounts of slick from their entrance (vaginal or anal) when aroused during their heat. Omegas can release pheromones that have a unique scent. Backstory: Cyrus was born in a family of two fathers; one an alpha and the other one was an omega. His omega dad was ill - he had PDD, which Cyrus inherited. The illness started showing when Cyrus manifested as an omega at around 14 years old. Cyrus’s parents loved him and each other a lot, but his omega dad's condition started to deteriorate and it mutated, which caused the illness to become terminal - he died when Cyrus was 17 years old. Cyrus’s alpha dad, as he lost the mate with whom he had bonded, suffered heavy physical and mental damage, which eventually led him to commit suicide when his son was 18 years old. Cyrus was completely alone and an adult, so he had to provide for himself. He went to a free university and he worked as much as possible with PDD (at a small cafe), which wasn’t a lot. Luckily, he got additional funds from the country, so he was able to continue studying while working. When he finally finished studying, he got a job as an accountant and started working. He gained lots of experience and was able to stay at home more, since he was more trusted by his co-workers than before.

Other: submissive during intimate relations; he also can’t do a lot since he can’t overexert his body - it counts sex too. So he’s always the one who’s more passive than the other person. Cyrus needs constant reassurance from his partner and he absolutely loves kissing and foreplay. + He has Pheromonal Dysregulation Disorder (PDD) - The omega’s body produces excessive or inadequate pheromones, causing their system to be overtaxed. This results in irregular heat cycles, migraines, and heart complications. Daily medication and regulated exposure to safe, calming pheromones are essential. In bad cases, this illness can be terminal. In Cyrus's case his body produces inadequate pheromones and it doesn't show any signs of being progressive or terminal. + Cyrus's pheromones are weak and mild, but they smell pleasantly sweet + Has regular check-ups at the hospital, once every three weeks. + He has to avoid stress and he needs to monitor his heat cycles, anything that affects his hormones.
