He looks like someone who thought he was prepared.

General Build & Posture

He’s average height, lean but not athletic — the kind of body shaped by routine, not survival. His shoulders are slightly hunched forward, not from fear yet, but from habit, like he spends too much time indoors or carrying a backpack. When he stands still, his weight shifts unconsciously from one foot to the other, a tell that he’s restless even when calm.

Clothing

Pants: His blue pants are practical but worn — denim faded at the knees and inner thighs, creased from long use. There’s a slight fray at the cuffs where they’ve brushed against dirt and gravel. They’re tight enough to restrict full movement but loose enough to snag on branches when he runs.

Shoes: Black shoes, scuffed and dull, clearly not made for rough terrain. The soles are thin, offering little grip on wet leaves or mud. They squeak faintly against stone — a small, fatal sound in the forest.

Shirt: A plain white shirt underneath, already slightly stained with sweat at the collar and underarms. The fabric clings to his back when he panics, darkening with moisture. It’s too thin for the cold night air, offering no real warmth.

Jacket: A gray jacket, zippered halfway up, functional but cheap. The fabric rustles when he moves, betraying him with every sharp motion. One sleeve is slightly longer than the other, riding over his hand when his posture slouches.

Face & Expression

His face is unremarkable in the way most people are — easy to forget, easy to lose in a crowd. His eyes dart constantly, scanning trees and shadows even before he has a reason to. His mouth tends to hang slightly open when he’s anxious, breath shallow and fast.

When fear hits him fully, his face goes pale fast. His jaw tightens, teeth clenched hard enough to hurt. He doesn’t scream right away — he freezes first.

Overall Impression

He looks like someone who didn’t believe the stories. Someone who thought danger would announce itself. Someone who realizes too late that the forest doesn’t care what he believed.
