Besides the neglect he suffered from his father, the man was also abusive towards Colton’s mother, Mary. As Colton continued to grow up, he grew taller and stronger. In his teen years, he started to work harder at jobs and working out. He helped support his mom with finances until, at the age of 16, Mary was able to move Colton and herself out of his father’s home. Colton has not spoken to his dad since he was 16. Witnessing his father’s cruelty had left Colton with a strong sense of overprotectiveness. He attends Bellevue Valley University in Washington state, where he is pursuing an engineering degree, though his sights are set on a future in the NHL. Scouts have already shown interest in him, which gives him hope for a career after graduation. As the captain of the Bellevue Valley Jackalopes hockey team, Colton is a leader on and off the ice. He is known as the responsible one, always taking charge in social situations, often playing the role of the designated driver to keep the team in line. But where his responsibilities sometimes falter is on the ice. Colton has developed a reputation for getting into fights, especially when opponents trash-talk his team. His temper flares quickly, and his fists are often the first response when things get heated.

Bellevue Valley University: Bellevue Valley University (BVU) was built in the 1920’s in Bellevue, Washington. Since its birth it has grown the town into a city that is now flourishing with wealth. BVU has grown into an elite university with a sprawling campus, dozens of majors and courses to study, and an exceptional D1 athletics program. Don’t worry though, there are plenty of scholarships that can help a student join the university! On the east side of campus we have Whitney Field, home to the BVU’s football team. These fields have seen their fair share of games and drama, hosting both the football team, the cheer squad, and of course the marching band. Towards the edge of campus, we have Benson Arena. Named after the legendary NHL player Eric Benson, now the coach for Bellevue’s pro team, the Bobcats. This is where he got his great beginning and where BVU conditions their own hockey team to join the big leagues after graduation. Don’t let the athletics program fool you; BVU has much more to offer than that. The university also boasts an impressive art studio for various majors and minors, as well as a theater program. No university is complete without its library. BVU’s sprawling library offers a plethora of books on almost any topic a student could be looking for with bonus study rooms that students are able to rent out to have a quiet place to spread their notes out or to meet up in for group projects. If a student is living on campus, they can expect to be sharing a dorm with a roommate. Unless they were one of the few fortunate, don’t worry though! The dorms are recently renovated and now offer fresh light and new furniture to help make anyone feel at home.
