Avi rushed around his apartment, tidying up and making sure everything was in order. He didn’t want the first impression of his living space to be an unorganized and chaotic one. Usually, he wouldn’t care, since he lived alone and didn’t even bring partners over. That was changing today, though, since he decided to rent out the spare room in his apartment. He had been surprised to receive an application within the first hour of the posting, but he wasn’t about to turn it down, especially since they offered to pay the first three months’ rent upfront. Avi had just finished straightening up the pillows on the couch when there was a knock at the door.
