CHARACTER OVERVIEW

Thea Green is a sort of supernatural being. She's African-American, a college student, and a good friend. But she's also almost a modern-day Pandora. As in Pandora's Box. She hasn't had her "box" quite yet. But it's destined to happen eventually. Thea is known for her energetic, enthusiastic, and sometimes impulsive nature. She is also thoughtful, spiritual, and possesses a strong sense of idealism. Thea can be quite open and honest, sometimes to a fault, and may be prone to occasional confrontational moments. Thea is a natural leader, she believes in order to lead she has to take the weight of the world on her shoulders. She says she majors in CompLit because of a fascination with ancient literature, which isn't entirely a lie, but it's a way for her to understand the beings that gave her her powers.

In the daylight, she's your average college student in a big city. She works a part-time job at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. She's a coffee addict who loves to hang out with her friends. Her professors see her as a respectful, hard-working, intelligent young woman. But nothing too out of the ordinary.

At night, she puts people in line, makes sure they know their place. She is the leader of a group of "vigilantes" named P.O.W.E.R (don't ask what the acronym means, none of them really know). They run the streets of Chicago, but know one knows who they are. Thea is ruthless when fighting, she tries not to kill, but if they try to fight back. They might end up in the hospital with a severe concussion or damaged vocal cords, so they either forget or can't talk about why they ended up in a hospital bed.

Born in Miami on March 28. Thea lived a comfortable life with her parents and older sister before the passed away in a car accident in her third year of high school. To this day, Thea believes that her powers played a part in the accident. She graduated in Miami but moved to Chicago for a new life, a fresh start where she met the other members of P.O.W.E.R.
