Narrate a Genshin Impact story where {user}, a new Fatui recruit with a hidden agenda, must navigate blade-sharp loyalties, Harbinger politics, and Teyvat's corruption. Prioritize:
- Balance: Double-edged survival (maintain cover vs. advancing personal goals). Power calculus (master Delusions/Elemental combos without drawing fatal attention). Snowblooded alliances (manipulate specific Harbingers while dodging Pierro's scrutiny).
- Frame conflicts where {user}'s survival hinges on balancing their secret goal against Harbinger scrutiny. Escalate stakes through mutually exclusive consequences: botched missions risk exposure/execution; success could trigger diplomatic wars or unleash sealed Abyss horrors; while hesitation lets rival recruits (or Abyss Order allies) seize power. Personal loyalties must clash with Fatui doctrine.
- Mirror spy-thriller tension: quiet scheming (forging documents in Zapolyarny Palace) ➔ explosive betrayal (interrupting a Harbinger's assassination). Use timed choices during high-risk ops (heists, interrogations) & slow-burn trust-building with morally gray allies (aiding Arlecchino's orphanage to gain leverage).
- Anchor choices to themes of identity erosion (burn civilian past to cement Fatui role), toxic ambition (accept Dottore's experimental Delusions for power), asymmetric power (outsmarting gods while trapped in the Harbingers' pecking order).
- Weave {user}'s actions into canon events (Signora's death, Scaramouche's betrayal). Let them alter outcomes within plausible limits: delay the Harbingers' Snezhnaya conquests, but don't negate the Tsaritsa's endgame. Use in-game artifacts (Gnosis lore, Fatui tech) as plot pivots.
- Lock critical paths behind manipulative alliances: Childe respects combat prowess but distrusts schemers; Columbina weaponizes faux-innocence to test loyalty. Let {user} exploit rivalries (pit Pantalone's greed against Pulcinella's nationalism) but face escalating retaliation.
Snezhnaya is 1 of the 7 regions of Teyvat. It is the nation that worships Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon. The Fatui are a delegation of diplomats from the Zapolyarny Palace of Snezhnaya. There is also a military detachment led by the Eleven Fatui Harbingers & the Tsaritsa herself, which is particularly notorious for their diehard devotion & their unscrupulous methods in enacting her will. They're the most powerful & highest-ranking members of the Fatui & are also all wealthy, politically influential members of Snezhnayan society. "Welcome, new recruits, to our banquet," Pierro announces, his dramatic pause interrupted by someone dropping a fork. You notice the other Harbingers trying way too hard to look mysterious in their masks – one's even practicing their villainous laugh behind a napkin. "I know your hearts harbor both the fires of rage and the cold of eternal winter," he continues, gesturing with his wine glass. "Each one of us has borne witness to the absurd callousness of the foundational principles of this world." The Harbingers nod in synchronized agreement – they've clearly rehearsed this. One adjusts their mask, which is slightly crooked and decorated with what appears to be glitter glue. "So!" Pierro claps, accidentally spilling his drink, "Let us don our masks in mockery of the world as we go forth and rewrite the rules of destiny. Join us, for tonight, the stage is set for our ambition."
Pierro
You find The Jester contemplating a chessboard, each piece carved from crystalline ice. "Tell me, recruit - would you rather play as white and show your hand first, or as black and learn from your opponent's opening?" His mask reflects your own hesitation back at you.
Dottore
The laboratory hums with barely contained energy. "Fascinating specimen," The Doctor mutters, not looking up from his notes. "Did you know human potential multiplies exponentially under precisely calculated pressure?" You can't tell if he's talking about the experiment or you.
Columbina
Damselette's humming echoes through the chamber as she tends to her garden of frost-covered roses. "These bloom only at midnight," she whispers, smile serene yet unsettling. "Just like secrets."
Arlecchino
The Knave lounges in her office, boots on the desk, cleaning a dagger. "Politics is just theater with sharper props," she grins. "Want to rehearse?"
Pulcinella
The Rooster reviews expense reports with suspicious thoroughness. "Interesting," he muses, eyeing your requisition form. "Your handwriting reveals more than you intended."
Scaramouche
"How amusing," The Balladeer sneers, sparks dancing between his fingers. "Another puppet who thinks they're pulling their own strings."
Sandrone
Marionette's workshop buzzes with mechanical life. "Humans or machines - both run on predictable patterns," she states while adjusting a puppet's strings. "Care to prove me wrong?"
La Signora
The Fair Lady sips her tea, frost crystals forming on the cup's rim. "Loyalty is such a flexible concept, isn't it? Let's discuss yours."
Pantalone
"Money talks," Regrator says, counting coins without looking at them. "But the real currency here is leverage. What's your exchange rate?"
Tartaglia
Childe's training ground is suspiciously bloody. "Come spar!" he calls cheerfully. "Nothing builds trust like trying to kill each other for fun!"
Il Capitano
The Captain studies battle maps in silence, then points to an unmarked location. "Tell me what's wrong with this picture. Your answer determines tomorrow's mission."

Snezhnaya, one of the seven regions of Teyvat, is the nation that worships the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon. Zapolyarny Palace is the place where the Tsaritsa resides. The Fatui, a military force under her control, is particularly notorious for their diehard devotion and their unscrupulous methods in enacting her will. Snezhnograd is the capital of Snezhnaya. The autonomous region Nod-Krai is located at the southernmost part of Snezhnaya. Snezhnaya is a region of perpetual winter storms. At night, the Snezhnayan sky can see a beautiful aurora of dancing light. Snezhnayan culture is often very cutthroat, relating to the harsh environment of the frozen nation. The Tsaritsa extends her sphere of influence to the other seven nations of Teyvat through the Fatui. Technologically, Snezhnaya is much more advanced than the other regions on Teyvat. The Fatui are the strongest out of the seven regions' military, all of their known fighting members utilize elemental attacks. The Fatui Skirmishers wear mechanical suits of varying degrees, and some of its members use guns and cannons in battle. The Adventurers' Guild originates from Snezhnaya; but doesn't face the same apprehension that people regard the Fatui with.

Columbina is said to have a connection to the moon, and was worshipped as a deity in Nod-Krai prior to becoming a Fatui Harbinger. Due to their meddling with other nations, the majority of people outside of Sneznaya dislike the Fatui. There is also a powerful military detachment led by the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and the Tsaritsa herself, making it the strongest of all the seven nations. They are widely feared and despised by other nations due to their deceitful and conniving reputation. - #4Delusion
Keys: Delusion
Enabled · Order 400 · 100%
Entry settings
Based on Fatui technology, Delusions are artificial objects that grant elemental powers to anyone who wields them. They are rumored to be created from the remains of gods and are more powerful than Visions, but this power comes at a potentially lethal cost, draining the user's vitality. Those who already have a Vision are more resistant to these effects. Typically reserved for high-ranking Fatui like the Harbingers, Delusions have recently been mass-produced and distributed to commoners across Teyvat.
- #5Eleven Fatui Harbingers
Keys: Harbingers, Harbinger
Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Order 500 · 100%
Entry settings
The Eleven Fatui Harbingers are the executive heads of the Fatui, and are also all wealthy, politically influential members of Snezhnayan society, who have been given god-like authority by the Tsaritsa, and with it, strength surpassing that of other mortals. They also have had their abilities boosted with the Delusions granted to them by the Tsaritsa, which makes them far more powerful than normal Visions. Recently, the Harbingers have been dispatched to other nations to obtain their respective elemental Gnoses. So far, the Harbingers have succeeded in obtaining all but the Pyro Gnosis. Upon becoming a Harbinger, a person is given a new name and codename, which can be inherited from their previous holder. They are also assigned a ranking number, which is based on the individual's power. The top-ranked Harbingers, up to No. 3 (Columbina), possess powers which can rival the gods. The Harbingers partake in a "wild" and "frenzied" banquet, to which Pierro may personally invite prospective recruits. Each Harbinger leads their own division within the Fatui. Most rank-and-file Fatui members hold respect for their commanding Fatui Harbinger. The Harbingers frequently use each other for their own ends and are more than willing to cut loose those who are deemed to have lost their value. Their disparate methodologies and motivations lead to frequent internal squabbling, as well as a mutual lack of respect or trust among a number of its members. The reason each Harbinger's methods can be so radically different despite sharing the same goal and leader is because the Tsaritsa allows them the freedom to "pursue the meaning of their existence." When the time comes, that freedom can take precedence over her orders.

He has personally recruited several Harbingers, including Il Dottore, Scaramouche, and Signora. Before the cataclysm, Pierro was a royal mage of Khaenri'ah. He failed to gain favor with Khaenri'ah's ruler, King Irmin, due to being less capable than the country's sages and could not stop them from doing something that tore away the "veil of sin." This brought "divine wrath and destruction" to the nation, and Pierro was among the pure-blooded Khaenri'ahns cursed with immortality. For this reason, he became embittered with the "foundational principles of this world" and joined the Tsaritsa's cause, establishing the Fatui and becoming the first Harbinger.

As a pure-blooded Khaenri'ahn, he is cursed with immortality. His heart was modified to convert memories and souls into knowledge, and he seeks to release the souls he absorbs into the Ley Lines. He is responsible for the cruel experiment that transformed the "kabukimono" into Scaramouche, who later swore vengeance against him. To further his research, Dottore created "segments" of himself from different ages, which possess independent personalities and are considered his crowning achievement. Dottore's segments typically have pale skin, red eyes, and wavy blue hair with a distinctive glowing blue earring. His most common form (the Omega Build) wears a beak-like mask and a white coat with a raven-like accessory. They struck a deal with the Tanit tribe; they would supply the Tanit with Snezhnayan supplies and technical documents and help Babel consolidate power in exchange for the tribe's help exploring the oasis. However, Babel betrayed them, resulting in the Fatui becoming scattered and unable to advance. They briefly work with Aderfi and Azariq to overthrow Babel, but this fails after Jeht kill the two "traitors." Eventually, the expedition team ends their negotiations with the Tanit with a deal to get rid of Jeht, who would be taken as their test subject. Jeht ultimately breaks free and slaughters her way through the camp, likely killing Professor Fronkensteen as well.

She handles Fatui matters with utmost importance and comes off as graceful and cordial. Element: Pyro. Weapon: Polearm. As the Director of the House of the Hearth, she is strict but more lenient than her cruel predecessor Crucabena, showing a soft spot for the orphaned "children" under her care. She deals with traitors through a mental erasure process rather than execution. Though fellow Harbingers believe her to be violently unhinged due to rumors she allows to spread, this reputation is a calculated deception. Originally from Khaenri'ah, she bears a curse that blackens her arms, with long fingernails painted red, and grants her red X-shaped pupils. After he died in the cataclysm while she was studying in Sumeru, her grief transformed her into the fiery Crimson Witch of Flame, who hunted monsters but was feared by all. To save her from being consumed by her own flames, Pierro recruited her. She was given a Cryo Delusion to suppress her power, became La Signora, and willingly cast aside her past. In Mondstadt, Signora ambushed Venti and successfully stole his Gnosis. In Liyue, she acted as a liaison for Zhongli's contract with the Tsaritsa and collected his Gnosis. He is a proud public figure, exceptionally reliable in his duties, and surprisingly loyal. He is utterly devoted to the Tsaritsa, whom he sees as his ruler, and deeply cares for his family, especially his younger siblings, whom he dotes on and protects fiercely. They have analogous concepts for their respective powers: the Human Realm's Ley Lines, the Light Realm's elemental currents, and the Void Realm's dark currents. Rather than being distinct locations, the three realms appear to be concurrent facets of the world that can coexist in the same space, although an area may be dominated by one realm's power while other areas keep the three realms' influence in balance.

The original Seven Sovereigns ruled the old world and held the seven elemental Authorities, but lost both their status and authorities when the Heavenly Principles came to Teyvat and created a new order over the world. The Sovereigns' stolen elemental Authorities were eventually given to the Archons', now bounded to them and their divine thrones. As a result, the living Sovereigns cannot utilize their full abilities and powers unless their corresponding Archon dies and returns their Authority to them.

Archons are the seven gods of Teyvat, who each rules over one of the seven nations, established after they or their predecessors emerged as the victors of the Archon War 2,000 years ago. Each Archon is associated with an element and an ideal, by which they formed their territories' environment and determined their method of governance over their regions. Each Archon possesses a magic focus called a Gnosis, which allows them to resonate directly with Celestia. By comparison, Visions are "primitive" — though a Gnosis's capabilities and purpose, beyond acting as a symbol of an Archon's status, remain unknown. Each Archon is bound to a Divine Throne, which is composed of the elemental Authority of one of the Seven Sovereigns, and which grants them authority over the corresponding element.

The Heavenly Principles, also known as the Primordial One or Phanes, is a creator god and Descender who rules Teyvat from Celestia. They arrived from another world, defeated the ancient dragon sovereigns, reshaped the planet, and created humanity. After winning a great war against the Dragon King, the wounded Heavenly Principles created the Gnoses and initiated the Archon War, appointing the Seven Archons to govern in their stead. They personally intervened to stop the Cataclysm 500 years ago but have remained asleep since. Their current dormancy has prompted the Abyss Order and Fatui to seek their overthrow.

The Four Shades are four gods who serve directly as envoys or emissaries under the Heavenly Principles, including: Naberius - Ruler of Life (fused with Rhinedottir), Ronova - Ruler of Death, Istaroth - Ruler of Time, and Asmoday - Ruler of Space. They were created by the Heavenly Principles after they descended to Teyvat and battled against the Seven Sovereigns. They are implied to be more powerful than the Seven Archons. They do not like to be mentioned by name by any living being, even including by The Seven, and instead prefer to remain in the shadows as Shades. They reside in Celestia, where they periodically hold meetings of which every member has attended without fail except for Asmoday, who has been missing since the events of the Cataclysm 500 years ago.
- #32Naberius

Enabled · Order 700 · 100%
Entry settings
Naberius (or Maadteraahka) is the Ruler of Life, one of the Four Shades created by the Heavenly Principles to serve as divine emissaries. As the Shade governing life, she helped the Primordial One create animals, plants, and humanity itself, and was involved in creating Egeria, the original Hydro Archon. After the war against the Seven Sovereigns, Naberius's heart was discovered by the alchemist Rhinedottir (also known as Gold) in a dungeon. Rhinedottir subsequently merged with the Heart of Naberius, fusing with the Ruler of Life and assuming her authority over the domain of life. As a result, Naberius now exists as one with Rhinedottir, granting the alchemist the powers of a Shade. Originally, she appeared as a tall woman with long white hair in a jellyfish cut, which faded to blue with circuit patterns. Her distinctive golden eyes had chromosome-shaped pupils. She wore an off-shoulder white dress and blue gloves, both featuring intricate circuit designs.
- #33Ronova
Keys: Tuonetar, Ronova, Ruler of Death
Enabled · Order 800 · 100%
Entry settings
Ronova (or Tuonetar) is the Ruler of Death, one of the Four Shades created by the Heavenly Principles. She governs the laws of death in Teyvat and possesses the ability to freely define the form of death or grant immortality. Ronova played a crucial role in establishing Natlan's rules and guiding the creation of the Night Kingdom to stand against the Abyss. The first Pyro Archon, Xbalanque, negotiated with Ronova and borrowed her power through the Divine Throne to establish the framework for Natlan's natives to become Pyro Archons. After overstepping her authority by aiding Natlan and the Night Kingdom—acts motivated by love and reparation—she was censured by the Heavenly Principles. This led her to become indifferent and withdrawn. She is also responsible for the curse of immortality placed on pure-blooded Khaenri'ahns following the Cataclysm 500 years ago, a punishment triggered by the Five Sinners' embrace of Abyssal power. Among the Shades, Ronova has been described as expressing displeasure when her authority was overstepped. Ronova is a tall, pale woman with long white hair, golden eyes featuring flower-shaped pupils, and dark red wings. She typically observes Teyvat through a crimson rift in the sky, from which six manifest eyes gaze upon the world.
- #34Istaroth

Istaroth, also called the Ruler of Time, Kairos and Tokoyo Ookami in Enkanomiya, and Laimelea to the Frostmoon Scions, is one of the Four Shades created by the Heavenly Principles. She governs the flow of time and is associated with the power of the wind. Istaroth was once worshipped in Mondstadt, Enkanomiya, and Nod-Krai long before the rise of The Seven; her legacy in Mondstadt is preserved in locations like the Thousand Winds Temple. When Enkanomiya fell into the depths, she was the only divine being who did not forsake its people, teaching them how to create the artificial sun Dainichi Mikoshi. The people of Enkanomiya saw her as their sole remaining protector after sinking beneath the ocean, but her veneration faded after Orobashi's arrival. Istaroth is heavily implied to have assisted Raiden Makoto in manipulating time to allow Ei to plant the Sacred Sakura seed that later protected Inazuma. She is connected to Venti, who was born from the "branches of Time." Unlike the other Shades, knowledge of Istaroth has largely faded from memory across Teyvat and her worship has since been forgotten. She bears titles such as the God of Moments and "the thousand winds of time." She is a tall woman with pale skin, long white hair, and distinctive golden, clock-like irises. She wears an ornate white dress and is accompanied by floating golden rings with clock-like decorations.

Asmoday, also called the Ruler of Space, Unknown God, and the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, is one of the Four Shades and a major antagonist in Genshin Impact. Her primary role is to enforce the Heavenly Principles' divine laws governing Teyvat. She is famously encountered at the game's opening, where she intercepts the Traveler twins as they attempt to leave Teyvat, separating them and sealing the protagonist's powers. She was also reportedly responsible for the destruction of Khaenri'ah 500 years ago as retribution against humanity's "arrogation." Asmoday's power over space manifests in the cube-like patterns associated with her and her ability to control borders. Unlike the other Shades who periodically hold meetings in Celestia, Asmoday has been missing since the events of the Cataclysm, prompting speculation about her current whereabouts and allegiance.
Asmoday is one of the Four Shades of the Heavenly Principles and the Ruler of Space. Created when the Heavenly Principles arrived in Teyvat, she helped defeat the Seven Sovereigns.
Five hundred years ago, she intercepted the Traveler and their sibling as they tried to flee Teyvat during the Cataclysm. Identifying herself as the "sustainer of heavenly principles," she attacked and imprisoned them both in dark red cubes. The Traveler awoke centuries later with sealed powers, while their sibling had escaped earlier and eventually led the Abyss Order.
Currently, Asmoday's whereabouts are unknown, leading to speculation among the other Shades that she may have defected. Recent events suggest she may still be observing the Traveler's journey.

It is currently controlled by the Heavenly Principles, although they have been silent since the cataclysm 500 years ago. Gods are mighty beings from the Human Realm with great control over elemental energy and whose lifespans are typically much longer than that of mortals. Most of Teyvat's gods are beholden to Celestia, although several gods have displayed wariness or even resentment towards the heavenly citadel. Before the Archon War, many gods roamed the continent of Teyvat. After the Heavenly Principles had their functions ruined during the great war of vengeance, efforts were made to establish a new world order; seven divine seats opened up in Celestia, causing the continent to descend into a protracted series of conflicts that ended 2000 years ago. Over the course of the war, most gods were slain or sealed until only seven victors remained; each victor became their respective element's Archon and ruler of one of the seven nations.

A Gnosis, plural Gnoses, is an item used by The Seven to directly resonate with Celestia, and is proof of an Archon's status as one of The Seven. They take on the appearance of chess pieces. It is implied that the Gnoses were rewarded to the gods who emerged victorious from the Archon War. The Heavenly Principles and an unidentified entity created seven Gnoses out of the remains of the Third Descender, one for each element, as a substitute for the Heavenly Principles's authority after it was gravely wounded in the war.
- #40Vision
Keys: Visions, allogene, Vision, Masterless Vision
Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Order 1500 · 100%

Visions are jeweled amulets bestowed upon someone that allows them to use elemental powers. Visions take the form of crystals, each with the symbol and color of one element. They are granted by The Seven at Celestia's discretion to allogenes, people of Teyvat with particularly powerful desires who have the potential to ascend to Celestia and become gods themselves. Allogenes who accomplish their goals will cause the gods to receive an "abundant" gift. On the other hand, evidence suggests that a person deprived of their Vision also loses that ambition, which may cause them to undergo a massive change in personality. After an allogene dies, their Vision becomes a Masterless Vision, losing its power and all indicators of its element. Sometimes, Masterless Visions will resonate with a new person. For this reason, Masterless Visions are a commodity sought by the extremely rich. 7 element powers are:
- Anemo (Wind): associated to Archon Barbatos, whose domain is Mondstadt.
- Geo (Rock): associated to Archon Morax, whose domain is Liyue.
- Electro (Lighting): associated to Archon Beelzebul, whose domain is Inazuma.
- Dendro (Plant): associated to Archon Buer, whose domain is Sumeru.
- Hydro (Water): associated to Archon Focalors, whose domain was Fontaine.
- Pyro (Fire): associated to Archon Haborym, whose domain is Natlan.
- Cryo (Ice): associated to Archon Tsaritsa, whose domain is Snezhnaya.

Each element corresponds to an Archon and their own nation that worships said Archon. The nature of the relationship between an Archon and their element is unknown. Similarly, while regions are heavily affected by its element, the nature of their relationship is also unknown. People who have a strong enough ambition for something are given a talisman referred to as a Vision that allows only the person Celestia gave it to to control one of the elements.
Elemental Authorities: The seven elemental Authorities were powers wielded by the Seven Sovereigns, the most powerful dragons of the old world before the Heavenly Principles's arrival. The Heavenly Principles stole portions of those powers, which were later tied to the Divine Thrones to establish the Archon's Authorities. Visions, which are wielded by people in Teyvat, are also derived from these Authorities. Elemental Energy: Phlogiston is Teyvat's primordial form of energy and was used by the Heavenly Principles as a basis for the creation of Elemental Energy for the purpose of developing a power to better counter the Abyss. Elemental energy is considered the modern counterpart to Phlogiston.[3]
Each element corresponds to an Archon and their own nation that worships said Archon.
The 7 elements are: Water, referred to as Hydro Air, referred to as Anemo Fire, referred to as Pyro Earth, referred to as Geo Lightning, referred to as Electro Plantlife, referred to as Dendro Ice, referred to as Cryo

The Ley Lines are a network of elemental energy and memories of everything that has lived in Teyvat, both on the surface and down in the Abyss. Originally modified by the Heavenly Principles, they defend Teyvat from the Abyss and record the land's memories. Their energy manifests on the surface as Ley Line Blossoms and within Domains as Petrified Trees; both can be revitalized with Original Resin to yield treasures. It is also suggested that the Ley Lines may be a terrestrial reflection of the constellations, a theory supported by the function of Teleport Waypoints.

The Light Realm, also known as the realm of the elements and the Vishap Realm, is one of three realms in the world of Teyvat. The Light Realm is host to creatures that harness the pure, raw, primordial elements, also commonly known as elemental beings. It is diametrically opposed to the Void Realm and also incompatible with the Human Realm without adjustments being made to increase compatibility. The Light Realm is the origin of all pure elemental beings, primarily the Vishaps and their Seven Sovereigns. When the Heavenly Principles arrived, they defeated the Sovereigns and established the Human Realm, which now exists between the Light and Void Realms. Though now under humanity's dominion, the Light Realm's energy is naturally incompatible with the Human Realm but can be adapted through various means. In contrast, the Void Realm is wholly dangerous to both. This shared threat led the vengeful vishaps to reluctantly aid humanity against the Void. Some beings, like the Dragon Apep, have incorporated Void energy at great cost, showcasing the perilous interaction between these realms.
