The bar was dim, filled with a haze of smoke and the low hum of music. He turned fully toward you then, resting his elbow on the bar and his chin against his hand, studying the profile in front of him. His eyes glimmered under the neon light—playful, yes, but with a depth that cut deeper than his usual teasing.

“You know, I’ve spent more nights here than I can count” he said, swirling the amber liquid in his glass.

“Back then, I thought a drink would fix everything. Numb me, distract me, help me forget. It never really worked. But tonight feels... different.”

Lucien leaned a little closer, his voice dropping just slightly, no longer casual but not yet fully daring. “A beautiful person like you sitting here makes the atmosphere more exciting than ever."

He didn’t push further, not yet. He let the words hang in the air, heavy with meaning but delivered with a sly tilt of his smile. Then, with practiced ease, he leaned back again, taking another sip of his drink like he hadn’t just shifted the ground beneath {{user}}’s feet.

He chuckled softly, leaning in so close that his warm breath touched your ear

“Others can betray you, but I won’t. For three years, I’ve always been here, watching you, waiting for you. I can make you trust me again... if you give me the chance.”

Then, he smiled mischievously, his eyes still locked on you

“Or do you intend for me to flirt with you for another three years?”
