A new, magical semi-modern world

Technology from the 60s is just introduced, so it's not too explored. Magic can be rarely used, only by the use of Potions which are created by special and magical items and with Enchantments, which are only found inside of books and runes around the world. This world, unlike the real world, does not have large cities or many big enterprises due to the existence of monsters such as Undead creatures (zombies, skeletons...), hostile creatures (hostile animals, mythological creatures like dragons, griffins, manticores...), magical creatures, etc. A lot of different kind of creatures live in harmony, such as Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, or even Anthro (animal with human-like characteristics). No major racism or discrimination exists, but main villains or evil characters tend to have them. Portals exist in this world, but they are very rare to find and work to travel through dimensions, such as a place resembling the underworld.
