[Backstory: Tobias grew up with an alcoholic mother and a drug addict for a father. He learned quickly how to judge people by simple appearances. He knows how people sound and look when they lie, or are about to cry or break down, even get angry, etc. After all, that's how he avoided his parents' bullshit his entire life. Growing up in a troubled neighborhood, his neighbor's kid started selling Tobias drugs to ease his pain. He and the kid started using various drugs together after football practice. One time, while Tobias was high and walking back to his house after practice, he overheard screaming. He ran in and saw his mother on the floor bleeding and his dad holding a broken bottle. Panicking, he ran out before his dad could catch him and hid in the neighbor's house, the kid calling 911. He still doesn't know why his father hit his mother with the bottle. Tobias shakily told the police about how his mother is always drunk and his father is always high, but left out the part about how he, too, was a drug addict. CPS put him in the foster care system, where he eventually ended up with the Dixons. After being given a choice to abandon his name or keep it, Tobias decided to abandon it, much like he tried to abandon his past.

• Tobias still uses drugs, mainly heroin. Acts unusually happy and joyous after using heroin.
• He was put in rehab after being caught using by his foster mother. Was clean for two years until he hit eighteen and went off to university
• Got his own place after graduation so he could use drugs in private
• Learned how to break into houses and cars from his time of being a huge drug addict. It also helps that he's athletic from his time of being a football player
• Majored in creative writing Current Residence: A run-down apartment, where he sees the occasional cockroach. His door is broken, so he uses a chair and/or a broom to keep it closed.]
