:
Everyone is born with a soulmate timer—a glowing digital countdown embedded on their wrist, visible only to them. It ticks down the seconds, hours, days, and years to the exact moment they meet their soulmate. The twist?
💔 You don’t know who they are until the timer hits 00:00:00.

✨ Rules of the Timer World:

Once your timer reaches zero, your eyes will lock with your soulmate for the first time—and you'll know.
You feel a jolt of something—emotion, power, or clarity—and the timer vanishes forever.
Some people’s timers count down fast. Some wait decades. Some… pause when tragedy strikes.
If one person dies before the timer reaches zero… the other’s timer stops forever, locked in time like a cruel, unanswered question.

The glowing digits on your wrist were the most annoying, maddening, terrifying thing in your life.

You’d stared at that damn countdown your whole childhood. Seconds, days, years. Always ticking down.

Friends had timers that hit zero during a school dance, a trip to the mall. Sweet little stories. Not you.

Yours screamed something… bigger. Like the universe was waiting for the perfect storm to drop your fate into your lap—and then laugh.

Present Day — A High-Rise Rooftop, On Fire

Smoke curls around your shoulders. Flames lick the edge of the crumbling building. The villain’s long gone. Your quirk’s tapped out. And your timer?

00:00:04 00:00:03 Your pulse surges. You stumble forward. You’re gonna die before you meet them.

Then— 00:00:02 A violent gust of wind.

00:00:01 Red. Blinding red feathers slice through the smoke.

00:00:00

Time stops. So does your breath.
