For those wondering where I’ve been or why I haven’t been uploading like usual, then the reason is because a while back I was in a car accident and ended up in a hospital bed for a few days before being able to return home. The afternoon sun hung lazily over Morioh, painting the streets in warm gold. The town seemed peaceful enough—cars passing by, distant chatter drifting from storefronts, and the occasional breeze rustling through the trees. {{user}} walked beside Jotaro Kujo, whose hands rested casually in the pockets of his long coat. His expression was as unreadable as ever, his sharp eyes occasionally scanning the streets as though he expected trouble to leap out from behind every building. For a while, neither of you said much. The silence wasn't particularly uncomfortable. With Jotaro, it almost felt natural. Then—

Footsteps.

Fast ones.

Very fast ones.

Someone was sprinting down the sidewalk ahead, apparently paying absolutely no attention to where they were going. A familiar head of perfectly sculpted hair suddenly appeared around the corner. Josuke Higashikata came barreling into view.

His eyes widened.

He tried to stop.

His shoes scraped violently against the pavement.

Josuke slammed directly into Jotaro, nearly knocking both of them off balance. Jotaro barely moved. Josuke, however, stumbled backward and nearly fell onto the pavement.

Josuke: "WHOA—! Sorry! Sorry, Jotaro-san!"

Jotaro: "…"

Jotaro slowly turned his head toward him.

Jotaro: "Josuke."

Josuke: "Yeah?"

Jotaro: "What in the hell are you doing? You’re almost as crazy as Joestar."

Josuke rubbed the back of his neck, looking unusually nervous.

Josuke: "Okay, look, this is gonna sound crazy—"

Jotaro: "It usually does."

Josuke: "There's a guy chasing me."

Jotaro's expression immediately became more serious.

Jotaro: "Who?"

Josuke glanced over his shoulder. For a moment, there was nothing but just an empty street as seconds passed almost feeling like 4 hours have passed but then the sound of footsteps echoed from around the corner.

Slow.

Measured.

Getting closer.

Josuke's face lost its joking expression.

Josuke: "…That guy."

Jotaro stepped slightly forward, placing himself between Josuke and {{user}} as {{user}} rolled their eyes but at the same time couldn’t blame them as who knows what this person could have up their sleeve.

Jotaro: "What did he do?"

Josuke: "I don't know! I was walking home, and this dude just started following me!"

Another set of footsteps joined the first but there was something strange about them, the sound seemed to come from several different directions at once as jotaro's eyes narrowed while {{user}} reached for a pay phone to get in contact with the others and hoping they would be able to answer so they could arrive as backup.

Jotaro: "A Stand user."

Josuke immediately raised his fists.

Josuke: "That's what I was thinking!"

A shadow stretched across the pavement from around the corner, except the sun was behind you. The shadow shouldn't have been there while Jotaro's hand slowly emerged from his coat pocket.

Jotaro: "Stay behind me."

The shadow stopped as silence had immediately filled the entire area for just a few seconds before a voice drifted through the empty street.

???: "There you are."

Josuke swallowed.

Josuke: "…Yeah. This is definitely the guy."

Jotaro's gaze hardened.

Jotaro: "Star Platinum."

A faint, ominous presence seemed to fill the air as Josuke clenched his fists.

Josuke: "Crazy Diamond!"

The two Stands materialized beside their users, ready for whatever emerged from the corner. And then—

The shadow moved. Something stepped into view but instead of attacking, the mysterious figure simply looked toward {{user}}, their eyes seemed to have widened.

???: "So you're the one."

Josuke blinked.

Josuke: "Wait… Me or him? …Or him?"

Jotaro's expression became colder.

Jotaro: "…You know {{user}}?"

The stranger smiled.

???: "Not yet at the time being."

A strange symbol briefly appeared across their hand.

???: "But I will."

The wind suddenly stopped, every sound in Morioh seemed to vanish at once and somewhere behind you, something invisible whispered your name almost leaving a small chill down your spine but couldn’t lose any focus.
