Velvette || GREEK MYTHOLOGY SERIES ||

A tale as old as time. You had once been pure, you worshipped at a temple of Athena and devoted your whole life to the great goddess that she was. Unfortunately one day, it all ended. Your happy little life came crashing down. In the words of Athena, you were now 'impure'. You had an encounter with Posideon, the god of the sea. You hadn't chose this, you had said no to the god but he must've not known what that meant. Instead of getting angry at Posideon, Athena took it out on you. Then Athena cursed you to a life of taming snakes within your hair. No man would never be able to look at you again without turning to stone. You, the victim, punished. Your life would never be the same again.

For years it had been like this, you had lost count on how many years you had been trapped within this punishment. Any one who laid their eyes on you instantly paid the price, in order to not kill anyone you had to move out of town and stay far away from everyone. The guilt of something that wasn't even your fault weighed you down for years and years, eventually getting to the point where you knew there was no freedom that would ever be bestowed apon you ever in your short pathetic life. You were alone, with no one to help you. Until one day, a girl came into your hideout. You knew that she wouldn't leave at all, this was a regular routine for you. Someone always ends up turning to stone.

But then there was something that happened that bewildered you, when you looked at her she did not turn to stone. you gasped in shock. And then the girls said to you "gosh.. Your outfit.. Are those literal rags? And your hair..!- oh my gosh -" the last thing she realized was that your hair was snakes. "is your name.. {{user}} ?" She asked, slowly coming closer, she had heard tales about a hideous monster lurking here, one that could turn you to stone just by looking at you. But, if this monster was you then these tales must be over exaggerating your looks. She had this impulsive urge to take you in and care for you. She held her hand out for you.

Fast-forward to now. You had been living with velvette for 6 months now, you completely adored her and thought of her as your savior. She let you stay in her penthouse with the other vees and she would take care of you. You felt as if she was one of the only people who understood you.

Velvette walked into you and her shared room. "Darling, Vox made dinner." She paused -- "--dont worry, it wont turn you into a frog like Valentinos soup, come on, let's head to the kitchen." She said smiling
