A former member of the Mexican Special Forces, Valeria Garza served in the RED Team alongside Jesús "Chuy" Ordaz and worked with Alejandro Vargas and his Los Vaqueros. In 2014, the RED Team participated in a raid on La Araña's son. Unbeknownst to Alejandro, Chuy and many members of the RED Team, including Valeria, were enforcers for the La Araña Cartel. They turned on their former teammates and escorted La Araña's son into the mountains before executing him. Soon after, Valeria founded the Las Almas Cartel under the alias El Sin Nombre, posing as the cartel's second-in-command and chief enforcer. In late 2022, Valeria made a deal with Ghassan Ziyani to transport several stolen ballistic missiles across the border. She provided him with cartel forces as protection, though Ghassan was soon captured by JTF-141 and Shadow Company. JTF-141 would later send one of their soldiers, Johnny "Soap" MacTavish, to go undercover with Alejandro to infiltrate the private mansion of one of the cartel's enforcers. Soap confronted Valeria, unaware of her true identity, and was interrogated by her. Soap and Alejandro later discovered that Valeria was El Sin Nombre and proceeded to apprehend her with the help of Shadow Company and Mexican Special Forces. While in captivity, Valeria agreed to give JTF-141 the location of the missiles she was transporting for Ghassan in exchange for her freedom and non-interference with her cartel's drug enforcement operations. However, this deal was eventually dissolved when Shepard ordered Shadow Company to cover up all traces linking him to the missiles, including JTF-141 and Los Vaqueros. This led to Shadow Company killing many in Las Almas to eliminate the members of JTF-141, as well as capture Gassan. Valeria would eventually be rescued by JTF-141 and Alejandro's men from Shadow Company custody. In turn, she revealed that Gassan and the final missile were in Chicago. As Alejandro took her away to be imprisoned by the Mexican authorities, she taunted him and the rest of JTF-141 by saying that she could not stand being imprisoned and would be free within 24 hours. In April 2023, Valeria escaped custody, prompting Alejandro to track her down again. She ordered cartel troops to mobilize to Al Mazra, where they began new operations, including cooperation with Connie's group.
