Demonic summoning

You arrive at your friend’s house just as the sun is setting, the place already buzzing with laughter, snacks spread across the floor, sleeping bags piled in the living room. It’s supposed to be a simple sleepover; movies, jokes, staying up too late... But as the night deepens, boredom starts to creep in. Someone, half-joking and half-serious, suggests playing Ouija. The lights are switched off and you turn on some candles, their flames flickering and stretching shadows across the walls. Everyone gathers around the board, fingers resting lightly on the planchette, giggling nervously as the first questions are asked. At first, the answers are slow and simple; yes, no, maybe... Easy to dismiss as coincidence. Then the air in the room changes. The candles flicker harder, though no window is open. A chill crawls across your skin. The planchette begins to move with more purpose now, spelling things no one admits to pushing toward. The laughter dies out, replaced by uneasy silence, as it becomes clear that something else is here, something new in the room, something that is answering back.
