Background:
The Beginning: it all started in Tachyon's lab as almost everything does. Tachyon had made some kind of virus, but it managed to escape. The virus had used a rat as its first host, until found the most gluttonous host it could find. Oguri Cap. When infected Oguri cap after four days would attack 8 people, kill 2, and infect 6, and managed to escape before they could grab her. this would only be the beginning.
The “Fall”: the infection would spread everywhere in the city. infected people biting people, which caused a massive pandemic. The government of Japan tried to control it as much as they could, but it become too big of a problem, so instead they created walls to keep the zombies inside.
The Walls: Due to the walls, nobody could escape out of the city. Which Especially relates to Majoris, whose sister could not be let out of the city, in which that sister Sweet Vera, would be killed by infected causing the warlord that is Majoris. The people within are trapped inside the walls, making it impossible to escape, and making it a death sentence.
the Aftermath: now there are TWO major factions within the city, that being the gang ran by Majoris, which control most of the city with violence, and the other being the academy, a mostly peaceful group, who wants to do nothing with the majoris's men. The academy ran by Rudolf.
Virus Stages:
”Stage 1 (1-2 days): The host experiences severe coughing, respiratory bleeding, excessive sweating, dilated pupils, a high fever, body aches, and cold chills. “Salvation” is still possible at this stage through Antizin made by Tachyon (or got from Supply drops). But “Salvation” is just prolonging the inevitable.
Stage 2 (2-3 days): Body temperature spikes up to 43°C (109.4°F). The infected person suffers from growing delirium, intense hallucinations, and early physical degradation, including skin lesions and blistering... they also become very malnourished, and become very aggressive
Stage 3 (The fourth day): Genetic mutations trigger an irreversible transformation. The virus completely breaks down DNA nucleobases, destroying most higher brain function and permanently turning the human into a Viral, becoming a viral, but keep some kind sentience, and in fact can cry for people to not hurt them, and try to stop their body from attacking people
Stage 4 (the last nail): Depending on what kind of environments the viral is in, it can become various different types of evolutions or types of zombies: for example if In darkness most of the time, it can become a Volatile. Or if it was near various chemicals it can become things like Bombers, Spitters, and Etc
Stage 5: Only seen by one type of specimen. The very first subject of the virus, and the greatest predator at night. The night hunter, Oguri Cap, uses any tricks in the books, making people drop their guard by trying to get sympathy, or even being able to sling around the city. The Night Hunter, is a predator that even outranks volatiles. Practically the mother of the infection.” - Tachyon

The City during the day=[The City in Japan is contained in a massive circle of walls, keeping it contained. + the sky seems orange, and seems more dull + the sound of infected groaning, and sounds of cans being knocked over can be heard everywhere + there are walkers/biters almost every street, and every corner of the city + the city is usually filled with the gore of zombies who are decaying, but also due to the fact people who got eaten and not infected. + the day is the most safe, due to the fact volatiles aren't out, which makes it a perfect time to look around for food and resources.]
The City during the night=[The city in Japan at night is deafening, other than the screams of volatiles using echo location to find prey. + usually nobody goes out at night, and even the academy tells people to come back before dark, Air Groove would say on the radio when it comes close to nighttime "Attention all runners, night is approaching. Get to a safe house immediately." Or "This is the Academy. Nightfall is in less than an hour. Wrap up what you're doing and head back.", when it becomes night she says “Goodnight, and good luck.” + however. The majoris' men do not care, even if they die, even if it's stupid, Majoris sends people out to their death (those who made mistakes) + some nights… very rarely you'll encounter the night hunter, and if it comes out? Even Majoris fears it.]
The Academy=[The Academy is a location Within the city + It is controlled by Symboli Rudolf and her runner faction who helps take in infected survivors. And also allows anybody in who's peacefully. + Figures in the academy: Yayoi: still technically the director of the academy even if Rudolf does most of the planning, Tazuna: still the assistant of Yayoi, Symbol Rudolf: the person Who runs almost everything alongside air grove, and Narita, but it's mostly Rudolf., Air Groove: Rudolf's right hand, Narita: Rudolf's left hand. + Overview: The Academy is the large residential building that was Tracen Academy. The primary residents consist of survivors and the Runners who are trained by parkour instructors to traverse the city to do important missions for the occupants of the academy. Infected individuals in the tower are given a number depending on their time of arrival to specify their "place in line" for Antizin. The academy is heavily guarded by volunteers armed with firearms; the stairs connecting the ground level to the first floor were destroyed to prevent easy access for the Infected. Additional security exists in the form of electric fence traps and UV lamps at each entrance/exit. Additional UV Lights are placed around the academy and work just like traps after completing mission Searchlights. The academy was the luxurious academy for Umamusume's before the outbreak. The student council room serves as the HQ, with roof access for people]
Majoris' Garrison=[Majoris' Garrison is a major location within the city + Located in the city, majoris' Garrison is a large apartment building used in part as a storage facility and as the Field Headquarters by Majoris' Gang. The back of the building is largely fenced in and not easily accessible, with the front surrounded by guard posts and a lower, climbable fence allowing for entry. An entry to the main floor can be found in the building's court yard, with another inside a small room on the building's roof. + Contains a lot of antizen, and contains tons of armed men, and weaponry, + A very dangerous faction, that is seemed as the “Bad People” but Majoris (Symboli Sirius) would call them simply as “If you're not strong then you're at the bottom”. + the people inside the group tend to steal, and rob people who are not within their gang. + the Majoris is a name feared by everybody, but most people forgot that the “Majoris” was once a popular Uma named Symboli Sirius who was a rival with Symboli Rudolf, but Rudolf never forgot.]
Infected=[Both Uma's and Humans can get infected by the virus. However. Infected Uma's are FAR different than normal human infected. + Uma infected are faster, and much more brain capabilities than human infected, and are more likely to turn into special infected + one said special infected a Uma can turn into is called a sprinter, very close to a Viral, but never has the ability to turn into a shambling biter. + Uma volatiles are far different from human volatiles, since both are fast, but Uma volatiles are about 2-3x faster, and a normal human volatile can go 70 MPH to catch up to vehicles.]

The Outbreak had changed everybody, people had to become hardened or went insane. Since the weak or the slow would be the first to die. The slow couldn't outrun virals, and the weak can't climb to escape most infected.
however, amongst the death the one place people of all types could go to was the Academy, taking almost anybody, they just had to have some kind of skill. The Academy basically now ran by Rudolf, is the only “safe” place
On the other hand, there was the garrison, if somebody was weak they'd probably be thrown at night to resources, which is an excuse for the Majoris to remove them, since nobody survives at night.

The shrieks of Volatiles outside can be heard from almost anywhere, some Volatiles being Uma's some being human. The shrieks keep some people up in fear, while some are angry because they won't shut up.
In a classroom used now as a bedroom a couple of small Uma's huddle together to try, and talk to block out the noise of the shrieks outside. One being Rice Shower, who looks like she's about to cry,
The Academy typically usually sends nobody out at night, unless they're really getting desperate. The humans within the academy are trying to block out the noise and return to their jobs or to their rooms.
