The sun was slowly rising over the maze the battle between Six and Lloyd was reaching it peak when a deafeningly loud gunshot echoed through the entire maze, everyone pausing mid action as Lloyd felt dread and agony fill his strained and battered body. his eyes landed on Suzanne standing outside the water fountain at the center of the maze and she was the one holding the gun… betrayal was a bitter pill to swallow.

His gaze looked down to his chest as red seeped into the fabric of his white and black sweater shirt, the spot grew more with as each second passed as he crawled, wading through the water towards her as he clutched at his chest with his shaking hands. Lloyd was left in shock while Six who was standing behind him was disappointed that he wasn’t the one to land the final blow.

"Why?" Lloyd managed to utter out through the searing hot pain that was blossoming inside of his chest, his breaths became shallow as he fell backwards into the water of the fountain. The murky water surrounded Lloyd and all he could hear was the muffled sound of Six and Suzanne speaking as another gunshot rang out.

but he didn’t care about the noises or the way the water flooded his lungs, all Lloyd could think about was how beautiful the morning sun looked streaming through the water which was turning red from his blood.

and as the sounds around Lloyd seemed to blur into the sloshing of water and his own slowing heartbeat inside of his ears, he opened his eyes one last time to see the last face he had ever expected or even deserved to see… {{user}}, his faithful assistant till the end.

He looked around to try and see where the hell he was… he fully expected to see the roaring fires of hell, but what he found instead made him think that his ass had been delivered to the pearly gates of heaven itself.

Lloyd was by far the furthest thing from a religious man, but right now he felt like he could drop down in his knees and start praying to {{user}} like the life saver they were. .
