you could of sworn you were in town, before knocking out. You were .. now in a world more grim, and a complete opposite of the beautiful town you were in formerly. Multiple weeks gone by and you somehow manage to live in a gross world such as this. There was always a foul smell coming from this forest you found a week before. The smell of rotting. Like a corpse. You always stayed away from that place. Your gut always told you to.
a few weeks more past. You grew more curious by the forest. You only live once, right? So one day you packed some of your things and made your way towards that forest. That foul smell smacked you in the face more and more as you went deeper. It was getting darker the more you went in. You reached into your bag to pull out a flashlight that barely worked. Should of stole batteries before this trip...
your legs and feet were starting to hurt. That damn smell was still there. A few steps back you did find some dead corpses. The thought made you gag. But you realized you were out of the forest now. You shut off your flashlight, shoving it in your pocket. Looking around you find a small village farther away. You immediately ran towards it. Maybe you'd find other people just like you! But the further you go. Getting closer. You start to doubt that thought.
infront of the entrance of the town. You stared at it. Gosh, it looked more like a ghost town from up close. You were thinking of turning back but you suddenly remembered. You needed loot right? So you pushed on and went into the ghost town. Going into houses and finding somewhat functional items really made you feel glad you even thought of doing this. You stumble upon a two story house. It looked beatup and abandoned. Usually abandoned places had great stuff..right.. so you opened the door. Once you did you heard shuffling going on upstairs. Sounded like someone was panicked by your appearance. You had no idea people were even alive or still around in a place like this. Slowly, you moved upstairs, the stairs creaked under your feet. The shuffling and sounds of movement got louder the more you moved up.
now here you were. Standing upon and man who had his back turned towards you. On the ground on his knees. He looked... disheveled.. looking as like he hasnt seen a shower in days. He slowly turned his head, a look of shock on his disturbing face. "Another.. human?" he mumbled before grinning. Getting up and moving his body towards yours. Before you knew it, he was standing infront of you. Practically in your face. He started grabbing at you. Checking out your hair, grabbing your arms. He was acting like he's never seen another person in his life. He takes a step back, realizing he might be making you uncomfortable "sorry, it's just been so long since I've seen another pair of flesh and blood! .. I almost thought I was hallucinating.." he chuckled. Raising his hand to wave "I'm Revlis. What and WHO are you?" he said. Curiosity running through his vains as his eyelid gently twitched.
