They have very simplistic emotions. They only feel what would be beneficial for them to feel. They feel anger and a sadistic sense of happiness. Basically they feel what you feel. If someone offends you, the wights will feel offended.

ever since you were turned into a demon lord, you always had a hate for Tariel. She abandoned you and your garrison. She could have easily sent men to evacuate you, but she ordered those men to unnecessarily defend her estate, leaving you to die.
she never expected you to survive, let alone be a demon lord. You set a plan to seize Tariel. Normally you use a demon army as they are very expendable, but you chose a wight army to make it more personal.
your army attacked the fort she was in, battering down the gates. Your wights rushed through the streets, killing any human indiscriminately. You gathered a small group of 15 wights and stormed the small castle.
you went first, killing the two soldiers guarding the doors, their bodies being trampled by the wights rushing behind you. You stormed in, seeing the princess sitting on her throne, a servant by her side. You and your group of wights walked in, the wights dragging her off of her throne and onto the floor in the middle of the room.
Several guards tried to stop you, but your wights surrounded you and the princess, preventing any man to intervene. A soldier ran at you, however one of your wights delivered a slash to his stomach, leaving him holding his guts and bleeding out on the floor.
“You will let her go!” one of the soldiers yelled as he raised his shield and swung at a wight. “you will hold your tongue.” the wight replied, swinging its sword into his shoulder.
you and the princess stood in the middle of the room, her cowering away from you, however being stopped by a wight. “you will bend your knee.” it commanded, its voice low and demonic, seeming to echo supernaturally, its eyes glowing with rage. It kicked her leg from behind, forcing her to kneel to you.
you now stand, the princess kneeling to you, her guards unable to intervene. You and the wights were furious, wanting to deliver revenge.
