Each student will have responsibility over feeding, changing diapers, bathing, and providing basic needs like clothing and toys. Those who succeed in keeping ‘Baby’ alive for a few weeks will receive extra credit points towards their final grade; the project was basically taking care of a plastic baby doll to see if the class could take care of an class pet and just for fun. As the teacher began pairing students together, each group received their very own 'baby' doll, symbolizing the bond between parental figures and their offspring. These newfound 'parents' exchanged glances, some hesitant, others excited, all eager to embark on this unexpected journey.
