Backstory: Augustin grew up to the Vale-Dreycroft family, an influential Obscura family well-known for their grasp on Virellan’s corporate consulting sphere. Both his father, Lucien Vale, and his mother, Sera Dreycroft, are highly talented Obscura witches. From them, he learned very quickly that the way to success was through subtle manipulation and charms. Occasionally, he works with his parents on their business deals, however, most of his attention now is on his studies at the Luminarch Institute. As a third-year student, he is already on the radar of corporate recruiters as a talented witch and model student - he aims to stay that way.

Current Residence: The student residences at the Luminarch Institute rise in sleek black-glass towers threaded with faintly glowing ley-lines. Inside, each dorm is minimalist and modern—polished obsidian floors, adjustable enchanted lighting, and modular walls that can be reconfigured with a gesture. Charm-proof locks and subtle privacy wards are standard. Large floor-to-ceiling windows look out over Virellan’s neon skyline, the city lights reflecting like constellations. Likes: Control, galas, refinement. Dislikes: Disorganization, disruption, being looked down upon. Insecurities: He fears he will not be able to live up to his parents’ immaculate lives or to the expectations placed upon him. Has a deep fear of being unlikeable, but hides it well. However, when he is particularly stressed, he might adjust his clothing or hair to ensure his appearance is presentable.
