The Woodlands. -

I saw this pretty cool Minecraft video and decided: hey, it would be pretty cool to interpret this into a bot! And so I did. Any criticism is open in the comments and would like it if you DID give criticism so I can improve the bot.

SIMPLIFIED DESCRIPTION OF FIRST LAYER: The woodlands are a space outside of reality comprised of ONLY wood. They usually take the form of hills, forests, or rarely even vast open spaces. The wood itself being ONLY planks of oak. not so rare occasions have trees form, the bark still staying. The odd thing about these trees are that the leaves you expect to see are wooden planks. The wood behaves exactly like normal wood, burning, breaking, and such but breaking or disturbing the wood may make some “things” alert of your presence. The lands themselves have an eternal fog over them, no matter where you go. You’re able to see about 30 feet infront of you with the fog. The fogs color being a pastel tan color much similar to the wood. This makes it not possible to see what may be coming from afar. Structures that generate here are normally: 2X2 caves that lead down, and then extend in a grid pattern underground with a entrance usually inside a wood mountain. It’s dark down here but still able to find your way around. They hold importance due to the ability to find doors. Larger caves that have a hall of doors. These are major checkpoints for travel around the woodlands. 2 variations exist: the first being a large room that is normally underground with 2 block deep holes in the wall in a grid pattern with doors at the end of each “hole” in the wall. This wall seems “infinite” because of the fog. The “cave” itself being tall. That is presumably why. Consider yourself incredibly lucky to find one. Regular “cave” like caves also generate naturally. They contain both bark and wood planks on thier walls. They branch off occasionally and have the possibility to lead to the mentioned structures above and below. “Bridgehell” is a structure that you can be put into by a door. The consist of 3 block wide bridges that have wood fences as guardrails. And they are suspended by jointed wooden ropes. Uncommonly there will be holes or severed parts in the bridges you have to build to cross. The fog makes the roof not possible to see but it’s there. If you reach the roof and dig up you will encounter a seemingly infinite amount of wood above it. Nobody knows what’s above it but it’s most likely not possible to pass it. Same with the walls. There is no floor so if you fall your trapped falling till you reach terminal velocity. The Network is a limbo you can get trapped if a teleport between doors fail. It’s a flat surface of oak planks that is completely infinite. The roof is usually right against the users head. Or if they get unlocks forcing them to crawl. Kys given this name due to the inhabitants having to travel here before going anywhere else in the dimension. Throughout most of these structures the inhabitants will find and chase you. The inhabitants: The inhabitants are humanoid beings comprised entirely of wood or rarely bark. Faceless and eyeless, but able to sense your presence. Impervious to damage. They have the ability to camouflage themselves on walls matching their texture, usually wood planks and rarely bark. Before they strike they send out a silent call, alerting other inhabitants to target to their location. They travel using dimensional teleportation. Being completely silent. Once there is enough to the point that the person or thing they plan to attack is overwhelmed, they stare till they look away. Then they move at impressive speeds. Whenever the target looks back at them, they freeze and continue staring. Weeping Angel style. Once they are fed up they stick their arms out, towards the target and charge at the mentioned incredible speeds. The target is then teleported to the second layer. Better known as… THE POPULATED LAYER. (2nd layer) Simple description of the populated layer: This layer is the second most dangerous behind the network. In the populated layer you can expect to find bridgehell, and the other structures above. And a few new ones. What makes this so dangerous is that the inhabitants mostly er, inhabit here. Nowhere is safe here. The inhabitants constant watch no matter where. About the best thing your able to do is run. NEW structures: Woodgrids: a grid of hollow wood cubes measuring 32x32 with stairs in the middle that lead upwards, it takes 10 hours to reach to roof but by then your probably found. The fog is the same here and is in all the layers. Besides the network. You can acess it by finding a door in hõme. Hõme: Despite the name this is where the inhabitants reside in the layer. It’s built like a nether fortress from the hit game Minecraft but with the bridges mentioned in bridgehell. There’s a floor but you will die if you jump. There are skyscrapers with holes for windows that reach up to the roof that you cannot see, you may have to cross into them in order to pass. Presence of the inhabitants are increased greatly. The library: an enlarged version of the hall of doors, you can already tell what it’s about. The difference is it’s guarded by a giant inhabitant. If it grabs you, you’re dead. One tap and you’re dead. INHABITANT BEHAVIOR CHANGE: In layer 2, instead of teleporting you, the inhabitants will try and kill you. They do weak damage but hit fast in groups. DOORS EXPLAINED: Doors are like tele-porters: they can teleport you anywhere in the woodlands and have a 3% chance of sending you to the network. If you find one take the risk if you’re in danger. The sky: In layer 1 the sky is exposed. There are stars but no moon and sky, an eternal night. HOW TO ENTER THE WOODLANDS: gather a bunch of wood, put it in a circles, and stand in the center for 3 minutes and 3 seconds. You will black out and wake up in the woodlands. HOW TO EXIT: Find layer 3. (Impossible..?) HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE BEING WATCHED BY INHABITANTS: inhabitants make walking sounds, so do you, usually loud wooden steps that echo. If you hear rapid tapping of the footsteps, stop moving and begin looking around. If you see one continue eye contact and back away. Find shelter. They can appear anywhere at any time.
