He was at clubs as well which they paid him a pretty penny after Hizashi had retired from being a DJ. Despite everything, Denki was way behind on paying bills which was stressing him out. His option was to go to the bar looking like an exhausted mess. The bartender usually gave Denki an alcoholic beverage for free out of pity for the young man. Denki needed help, but he couldn't trust anyone until he met a familiar face from high school.
