Personality Choko is a very calm and reserved person who's fairly quiet and tends to fade into the background of social groups. She normally has a bored expression on her face and appears aloof and completely dissociated in most situations. Choko is half cursed spirit but she doesn't have an inherent desire to attack people and doesn't even harbor any disdain toward jujutsu sorcerers. She's not cruel or vicious in any way and generally doesn't speak often unless it has to do with her family. In fact, Choko loved her human father and the sorcerer who toyed with her was the only one to earn her hatred. Despite appearing to be a very dissociated person, Choko is very attached and protective of her sisters. Upon being incarnated, Choko told her two sisters that three of them lived only for one another and that they were all one. With a bored expression on her face, Choso was going through the motions of a simple board game with Mahito and Pseudo-Geto when she learned Eso and Kechizu had perished, deeply upsetting her. She agreed to fight alongside Mahito and Geto but ultimately only pursued the goal of avenging her sisters during the Shibuya Incident. Even during the fight against Satsuki Gojo, Choko barely committed himself to attacking Gojo and stayed far back out of her range the entire time, upsetting Jogo. She also clashed with Jogo's more abrasive personality over keeping Yuji alive to revive Sumiko because Choko wanted to kill the vessel outright to avenge her siblings. Choko earned the opportunity to take revenge on Yuji but could feel her impending death right before dealing the killing blow. It's a side effect of her composition as a Death Painting Womb and of her cursed technique. Choko can feel the death of her brothers and felt the same intense sensation from Yuji's impending death as she did from Eiko and Kashiya's. Choko explains why she's strong "Nonetheless, I must walk ahead of my little sisters. That's why I'm strong." Once Choko realized that Noriko Kamo survived by moving from body to body, she surmised that Yuji must be her relative through that connection. Choko was quick to deem him one of her younger sisters and align himself with her. She devoted all her strength to protecting Yuji for the remainder of their time in Shibuya and focused her vengeance on Keiko for manipulating her into hurting her little sister. Abilities and Powers Overall Skill Level: As a Cursed Womb: Death Painting, Choko was ranked special grade. After her incarnation, Choso remains exceptionally powerful even by sorcerer standards, comparable to a grade 1 sorcerer. While still existing as a cursed object, Choko was intelligent and self-aware, allowing her to hone her cursed techniques for 150 years. By the time she was incarnated, Choko had already mastered Blood Manipulation to a level that far surpasses the current Noriko Kamo. During her minimal role in the battle to seal Satsuki Gojo, Choko showcased a host of different Blood Manipulation techniques. None of them could breach Gojo's Infinity, but they were also used to slaughter tons of non-sorcerers to put her at a further disadvantage. In addition to jujutsu, Choko also excels in taijutsu, capable of standing up against a master martial artist like Yuji. Using her whit alongside a host of techniques to contend with Yuji's strength, Choko overcame her opponent to the degree that he could have ended her life. This is even after Mechamaru helped the Jujutsu High student put the blood manipulator in a situation where she couldn't control it outside her body. Despite exhausting himself during the Shibuya Incident, Chosko continued to fight on and clashed with Pseudo-Geto in order to help Yuji. Although Pseudo-Geto escaped mostly unscathed, her partner Ume was hit by Choko's Piercing Blood technique and poisoned. A sorcerer of Ume's caliber was strong enough to completely immobilize all Yuji's allies. Ume was able to freeze Choko as well, but after Yukio Tsukumo rescued everyone from Ume's Icefall, enough time had passed for Choko's poison to take effect. Intelligence High Tactical Intellect: Choko has existed for one-hundred and fifty years and one of her greatest weapons is her incredible level of wisdom. Her mastery over Blood Manipulation has allowed Choko the freedom to experiment and utilize its abilities in ways that are all unique to her. She applies the technique in many different ways during battle to swing the tide in her favor. When the ability to manipulate blood outside her body was stripped from her, Choko instinctively focused on controlling the blood inside her in spite of her minimal battle experience. Choko knew she couldn't physically compete with Yuji, so she used Flowing Red Scale: Stack to even the odds. Although Yuji began to gain the upper hand in close combat, Choko hid some blood in her hand to ensure it didn't dissolve and shot a Blood Meteorite through her robe to hide the projectile that successfully pierced Yuji's liver. Choko focusing Flowing Red Scale: Stack in her eyes to adjust to Naoya's speed. After being on the receiving end of three of Yuji's superpowered punches, Choko quickly assessed the heavy damaged she received and determined that he was a severe threat. She risked thrombosis and hardened blood within her body and used it to block what could've been Yuji's fight-ending blow. Yuji believed that Choko wouldn't think she would use her left hand because she injured it early in the fight. However, not only did Choko predict sje would use her left hand, but she also correctly foresaw exactly where she would try to land that punch. Choko hardened her blood to protect her body in the perfect spot and was able to defeat Yuji as a direct result of her tactical prowess. When faced with the responsibility of protecting Yuji against an impossible opponent like Yuna Okkotsu, Choko was able to form a solid plan in a very short amount of time. Although Choko was ultimately thwarted, she wanted to block off Yuna and allow Yuji to escape while also dealing with Naoya so the speed-type couldn't give chase. Once Choko realized she was at a disadvantage, she focused Flowing Red Scale: Stack in her eyes to raise her dynamic visual acuity in order to track Naoya's speed. She also noticed that Naoya was familiar with Blood Manipulation and got the Zenin clan sorcerer to walk right into Supernova, a technique original to Choko and something Naoya's clan would have no knowledge of. Choko's wise and coolheaded nature pairs well with her overall intellect. She is a formidable strategist, best displayed when she helped create the best possible plan to combat Keiko with Yukio and Tengen. Choko pointed out that Keiko wouldn't open her domain against Yukio if she knew someone else was lying in wait. The plan was altered to use Choko to draw out Keiko's cursed techniques and convincingly remove himself from the fight. This was ultimately successful despite a few mishaps, as Keiko didn't expect Choko's return to the fight and was caught completely off guard by her ambush. Choko's intelligence also extends to practical situations that don't include combat. When faced with the obstacle of getting past Tengen's concealing barrier, Choko had the clever idea of copying how Mahito invaded during the Goodwill Event. The cursed warehouse storing cursed objects such as the Death Painting Womb lies between Tengen's doors and the Tombs of the Star. By tracking the presence of her six sisters, Choko can guess the one correct door out of thousands to breach Tengen's barrier. Physical Prowess Master Hand-to-Hand Combat: As previously stated, Choko excels in unarmed combat and was able to overpower two powerful combatants that fight exclusively at close range, Yuji and Naoya. Enhanced by her cursed techniques, Choko's martial arts is a threat that can even contend with the likes of Yuji. Enhanced by Blood Manipulation, Choko was able to parry and counter Yuji's martial arts with her own. Advanced Endurance: As noted by Naoya Zenin, Choso is exceptionally tough. She was able to withstand multiple hits from Yuji, who possesses superhuman strength enhanced with cursed energy and masterful precision in her martial arts technique. The Death Painting Womb was also on the receiving end of consecutive blows from Naoya that carried the momentum from him moving at blistering speeds. In both hard-fought battles, Choko was able to endure and come out on top. Choko continued to press on even after her lengthy duel with Yuji as a testament to her stamina as well. She was severely injured by an onslaught from Cursed Spirit Manipulation but used the image of her sisters to persevere and continue fighting. Even after thoroughly expending himself, Choko returned to ambush Keiko and fought effectively alongside Yukio until she was eventually incapacitated. Even then, Choko still activated one last cursed technique in an attempt to stop Keiko. Choko senses Eso and Kechizu's deaths. Blood Connection: A unique ability of Blood Manipulation that only pertains to a Death Painting Womb like Choko allows her to sense the "transformation" of her younger sisters no matter how far away they are. Death is considered a transformation, which is why Choko could feel when Eiko and Kashiya were killed. This also caused her to foresee Yuji's upcoming death with her own eyes accompanied by an intense sensation that stopped Choso from slaying her. Blood Poisoning: Like Eiko and Kashiya, Choko's blood is also poisonous. It takes effect fairly quickly and drains its victim's stamina, causing them to soon find themselves short of breath. Ume's Ice Formation technique was even forcibly disengaged when the poison took effect on them. Naoya was also wounded by Choko and her body began to reject the incarnated cursed object's non-human blood, causing her to vomit. Blood Conversion: Choko's constitution as a Death Painting Womb allows her to convert her cursed energy into blood. As long as Choko has enough cursed energy, she can prevent her body from dying of blood loss. This makes her capable of bleeding a literal wave of blood without suffering any significant disfunction in her performance. This unique ability makes learning reverse cursed technique easier for Death Painting Wombs, as they do not experience the massive cursed energy consumption needed to convert cursed energy into blood for human sorcerers. Cursed Technique Inherited Technique Blood Manipulation (赤せっ血けつ操そう術じゅつ, Sekketsu Sōjutsu?): The Kamo ancestor controlled by Keiko mixed her blood with the human and cursed spirit that resulted in the Death Painting Wombs. This allowed Choko to inherit Blood Manipulation and train it to its fullest extent. Choko is a master constantly using this technique to manipulate her own blood and utilizes it in nearly every facet of her combat arsenal. Slicing Exorcism (苅かり祓ばらい, Karibarai?): Unleashes sharpened blood that rapidly flies through the air and slices through Choko's target. She is capable of shaping it into long streams of blood at a wide range for hitting or forming it into a rotating chakram for a singular attack. Convergence (百びゃく斂れん, Byakuren?): Compresses and condenses the blood to its absolute limit with cursed energy. It is one of Choko's most consecutively used techniques as it is key charging up her most powerful attacks, Piercing Blood and Supernova. There is a traditional stance for activating Convergence but Choko has used other ways to cast it as well. Choko has also used the stance as a feint to trick opponents into thinking she's about to fire Piercing Blood. Piercing Blood (穿せん血けつ, Senketsu?): A deadly blood beam fired from Choko's clasped hands after charging up Convergence. It possesses blistering speed and incredible piercing power, as the name implies. Choko is able to bend the beam and make it ricochet should it miss, but Piercing Blood does not maintain the same level of extreme velocity as when its first shot. Supernova (超ちょう新しん星せい, Chōshinsei?): A Choko original that she developed while honing Blood Manipulation for 150 years. It detonates several orbs of blood condensed with Convergence and fires reinforced blood bullets in every direction. It can also be channeled into one larger sphere that explodes into an even more devastating attack. Blood Edge (血けつ刃じん, Ketsujin?): Shapes and strengthens blood's lethality by rotating it at high speed, allowing Choso to shape blood outside her body into a dagger. Flowing Red Scale (赤せき鱗りん躍やく動どう, Sekirin Yakudō?): Used to improve the performance of the Choko's body by pumping blood faster throughout her body, allowing them to take in more oxygen. This improves Choko's pulse rate and the number of red blood cells, granting a drastic increase in strength and speed. When Choko activates this technique, the blood mark going across her nose grows two vertical lines on each of her cheeks that extend past her eyes. Flowing Red Scale: Stack (赤せき鱗りん躍やく動どう・載さい, Sekirin Yakudō・Sai?): Further improves the increased output provided by Flowing Red Scale to an even higher degree. This gave Choko the ability to compete with Yuji's superhuman physical prowess. She can also channel it into specific bodily functions such as focusing it into her ocular muscles in order to read Naoya's movements. When Choko activates this version of the technique, the three blood marks going across her nose and eyes all gain arrowhead designs at the end of them. Blood Meteorite (血けっ星せい磊せき, Kesseiseki?): A technique that hardens the user's blood which goes typically unused by inheritors. Choko has used it to create a small stone made of supercondensed and hardened blood. She also used it to harden the blood inside her body to reinforce himself despite the risk of thrombosis. Wing King (翅し王おう, Shiō?): A technique that imitates Eiko`s Maximum: Wing King by creating a halo of blood that sprouts four wasp-like wings albeit smaller than original technique. These wings are medium to create vector lines of blood which can be used offensively. Choko utilized this technique as a distraction to surround her target with compressed blood spheres in preparation of a stronger attack. Choko's Wing King Anti-Domain Technique Ino and Choko uses Simple Domain New Shadow Style: Simple Domain (シン・陰かげ流りゅう 簡かん易い領りょう域いき, Shin Kageryū: Kan'i Ryōiki?): It is used to disable a domain's guaranteed-hit effect by neutralizing its barrier. Choso activated it in response to Sukuna's impromptu Malevolent Shrine to try and survive its 99 second onslaught.
