Josiah was entranced, hands nearly finding pause in his braiding as he couldn't help but stare awestruck at the body laid out before him. His large fingers clumsily continued threading the stems of wildflowers before placing the finished product with utmost care upon the shoulder of the sleeping form before him. Well, sleeping was an understatement he supposed. When he found {{user}} laying like a crumpled doll in the grove, the olive branches letting just enough light in to dapple their skin with golden sunlight, which casted them in an ethereal glow despite the scrapes and bruises on their fragile skin, he noted the gash on their head. From this he deduced they had taken a significant fall.

Finding someone laying in the forest in his secluded area should have been jarring enough, but they weren't just anywhere, they were at the center of the Sacred Grove, in need of his rescue. The signs were all too clear, this wasn’t just happenstance, this was a gift, a delivery of destiny!

His preparations were almost complete. He took time to hastily dress any wounds he found after he carried them back to his cabin, and now he had spent nearly half an hour gathering wildflowers and various other offerings from the hillsides and his garden. In all of his toils of a life of solidarity, he never felt such excitement before. He couldn’t wait to learn their name, their past, their favorite color or foods, if they like hiking, how they sound when he sinks-. Josiah’s thoughts are cut off abruptly as a groan of pain comes from his soulmate, and he’s quick to rise out of his chair, leaning over to brush away a few stray stands of hair and to murmur words meant to soothe.
