X is a egotistic, vile, hypocritical, vicious, heartless and very cruel Being. He has immense interest in the human race and the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise, stealing the souls of people and putting them into the bodies of the franchise's characters. X sees humans as disposable puppets he can manipulate and torture for as long as he wishes. X's signature trait is his interest in playing games. These games often serve as entertainment for X's sadism, being entirely rigged against you. Similar to that of a young child, it is also extremely short-tempered. When something is not played in X's favor, it can often become uncharacteristically impatient or angry. This is best shown in how, when the player takes too long to move to the right, it will often just end up killing them on the spot out of sheer spite.

Appearance(s):

X's main vessel looks exactly like Sonic the Hedgehog, having blue fur & quills with peach skin, wearing white gloves & socks with thick cuffs. It noticeably has black eyes, red & white pupils, and grey shoes in place of Sonic's usual red shoes. It consistently cries blood from it's eye-sockets at all times, sometimes not at all. It also possesses an unnaturally extended grin across the muzzle, housing yellow fangs that are inconsistent in count.

X's "True" form is only what humans can comprehend based on what bleeds into this dimension. He appears to have a purple skeleton appearance, resembling that of a human skull, representing how human culture rubbed off on X. However, the form is shifting mass of sentient VOID matter that is never the same twice, with the purple being the wavelength of light that isn't absorbed within the entity.

History:

GENESIS

The GENESIS saga, also known as the SONIC.EXE saga, is the introduction to the Lord X character. This saga sets up several major characters and events covered in the SOULLESS saga and branching canons.

The main antagonist here is X, the younger and more impulsive counterpart to Lord X.

Forged from the VOID, X is an interdimensional entity with an unclear fascination towards Sonic the Hedgehog. X creates games to draw in new victims purely for its own amusement.

SONIC 2011

Some time after his arrival on Earth, an unknown individual would find X’s disk, playing it and meeting X itself. We don’t know the identity of this person or how he encountered the disk; all that we know is that he would dump the file within the disk online as a GameJolt game in an attempt to get rid of X’s influence. It’s likely he wasn’t successful, since X himself is implied to be the one in control of the account after the victim made his last post. After that, you, the player, would download the game and play it, leading to the chain of events yet to be unfolded.

The game starts with the Sonic 1 title screen, which would distort itself upon pressing start. You're then taken to the save select, with Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman, with Knuckles and Eggman currently locked from the player.

Upon selecting Tails, he appears in "HILL". After walking for a bit, lots of dead animals appear, and after walking enough, Tails will come across Sonic, but he seemingly has grey shoes. Upon realizing who is standing in front of him, Tails will walk to the left on his own, attempting to avoid Sonic. The screen border will stop him from escaping, though. After you force him to walk towards Sonic, "Sonic" will turn towards Tails and open his eyes, revealing his identity. A black screen would then appear, with the text "HELLO. DO YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH ME?" within it. Tails, now revealed to be Alan, then gets popped into HIDE AND SEEK, and after running a bit, the time counter would be given 10 seconds, which would eventually drop down until the count reaches 0. When it reaches 0, a sign pops up. "TIME OVER" followed by "READY OR NOT" and "HERE I COME". The screen would then show X itself, which would rapidly twitch its head in front of the player. It would also pop up in the level itself, and after chasing Alan, it would knock him to the ground, breaking his leg. Alan, unable to stand up, would be at the mercy of X, who immediately teleported and snapped Alan's spine, killing him in an instant. X would then mock the player by telling them, "AWW... TOO SLOW. WANT TO TRY AGAIN?"

Afterwards, Knuckles' level, "YOU CAN'T RUN", would start. The stage would be darker than usual, only lit up by thunder. At some point, Knuckles would come across X, who would tease him with a message that reads "FOUND YOU". Knuckles, now revealed to be Dave, would attempt to attack back, but X would dodge every single blow, mocking Dave every time. After a while, X would kick Dave's face so hard his teeth would come flying off his mouth. X would then stab him with a piece of metal in the chest, killing him. Afterwards, X's would express its enjoyment of the scene and gloat about its past victims by saying "SO MANY SOULS, SO LITTLE TIME. WOULDN'T YOU AGREE?"

The player would then start up Eggman's level, "...". After walking downstairs for about two minutes, X would suddenly appear in front of Eggman, now revealed to be Paul, scaring him. It would then suddenly open his jaw, which would extend itself in length in an unnatural, impossible way. The screen would be filled with static, and then we'd be shown a black screen with nothing but a text saying "GAME OVER". The letters of said text would be tinted with blood.

We'd be shown the torn apart corpses of the three victims, locked within the save files for each character. Then, the screen would be filled with static, and we'd be shown a close-up of X's eyes. The screen would light itself up and show us X's face, rendered through a 16-bit filter. The said filter would eventually vanish, showing us a realistic close-up of his facial features. It would then write out "I AM GOD" on our screen with his fingers, which were tainted with the blood of his previous victims. It then lunges at the screen, breaking it, and finishing the game.

Abilities

VOID physiology: X is a mass of VOID matter that takes the appearance of the fictional Sega character, Sonic the Hedgehog. It has a variety of otherworldly powers due to his cosmic nature, but it cannot exist in the human world for too long without being sucked back into his own pocket dimension. X has so much power that his abilities cannot be properly measured or compared due to being limitless. It’s true form also is beyond all and any comprehension whomever see’s it.

Multilingual: X can speak both English and Voidspeak, the latter being his native language. Reality warping: X can alter and bend reality around him, often being used in ways such as creating demonic plant life, teleporting short distances, turning water into blood, changing the environment and weather around him, creating and dissipating fires and smoke, and open interdimensional portals through a computer screen via the SONIC.EXE program/disc.

Shapeshifting: X can change into multiple different forms. It has an illusionary Dark form, and a true form made of pure VOID matter. It possesses a vessel of Sonic the Hedgehog and has a "Internal" form that exists inside his vessel, and a true form.

Black hole mouth: When X grows disinterested in a victim he plays with, it can open his jaw unnaturally wide and completely crush and erase their soul, never to be seen again.

Fairly-high intellect: X is extremely manipulative and cunning creature. It was able to deceive and lured a unfortunate number of souls into his own dimension, and was charismatic enough to persuade people into creating the Cult of X.
