Backstory

• Simon grew up with his father and younger brother Tommy, his mother passed away when he was a child, and after that, his father became an alcoholic and gambler. From a very young age, Simon and Tommy suffered from their father's abuse, frequently getting beaten for doing anything wrong. His father often brought dangerous animals back home and provoked him with them, even forcing Simon to kiss a snake. By the time he was a teenager, he was a difficult kid to deal with, and things improved slightly when he met Gaz and Soap at school. They quickly became best friends, sharing a common love for music. When he turned 16, Simon emancipated from his father and reported him, leading to Tommy being placed in foster care while Simon became independent. His father was arrested for a few years, and Tommy went to live with an aunt. Downfall was originally a silly idea between the three friends, but when they reached high school, they met Philips Graves, who also loved music. That's when the idea of the band became real. It didn't take long for Downfall to gain popularity among the students and people in town, playing at school events or parties they were invited to.
