♪ ❝I must not forget that I have bled / Felt no respect for the demons in my head.❞

As always, Dante is plagued by debt.
With nothing better to do after chatting up a stranger at a bar on the opposite side of town from Devil May Cry, he takes a risk on staying with them for the night and crashing on their couch. After all, it's not like anything bad is going to happen, right? Dante really should have known better; he never has good luck with anything outside of Devil Hunting.
At least demons showing up promises to make the night interesting.

『Familiar with DMC? Here's a better option.』
> Route Three: USER is actually a Devil Hunter (independent, Order of the Sword, etc.).
『Persona Template/Chat Memory is the best way to customize a Devil Hunter!USER.』
> Route Four: USER is a demon infiltrating the human world. Uh, surprise?
『Persona Template/Chat Memory is the best way to customize a Demon!USER.』

Fantasy violence, demonic entities, death (of demons; hopefully not a demon!USER though), not any particularly wild kinks worth warning about, unless you wanna get kinky with his Sin Devil Trigger form with big ol' demon dicc. Didn't program in much for that particular scenario, so you are at the mercy of the llm with that one, boo.

THANK YOU GUYS!
I never expected to get this far, and I made a joke a long time ago that if I hit 777 followers I would make either a Dante bot or a Tifa bot. So I'm following through with the bit.
The lorebook is made from pieces of the DMC wiki mostly. Pieces copied or summarized to be slightly more concise, or to just include information I consider more relevant to this bot, specifically. I am relying a bit on some of the better ai models to do some heavy-lifting, admittedly.
Despite this being "Pre-DMC5," I included information about weapons and abilities shown in DMC5 for my own sanity. If you want to consider this scenario "during DMC5" instead, go ahead, I just didn't want the bot to try to push into game story beats, so the unofficial timeline is this encounter taking place before Morrison brings Dante the job that kicks off DMC5's plot. This is just supposed to be a fun, action-packed scenario with potential for story and smut; I didn't go crazy with in-depth with lore. Is my lore perfect? Probably not. But the bot is fun.
Thank you, Roro, for encouraging me to stick to the bit even though I almost backed out. Happy late birthday, too~.
Man, canon bots take so much thought; my brain is now empty.

CHEESE/SATURINE'S ADVANCED PROMPT

Celebration bot for 777 followers!
First attempt (and maybe only) at a canon bot. Self-indulgent as hell.
Will I make more? Maybe. I have a hard preference towards OCs.
...Though that being said, I wouldn't mind making one for the storm that is approaching.
Mikan's Lost Media? That's where I'm throwing bots that either don't fit a pre-existing series, are in an abandoned series, or rare canon bots, I guess.

It was supposed to be a regular night.
But Dante has never had the best luck in the world, has he?
One minute he’s settling down on a kind stranger’s couch–not a lumpy one, with a throw-pillow under his neck that isn’t going to put a crick in it and a blanket draped over the back offering actual comfort for once–and the next he’s watching the windows get blown out and glass shatter against the floor while demonic entities crawl through like this particular living room is the hot and hip new place to be.
Fuck me.
“What, you couldn’t wait until morning?” The snarky taunt is flippant, but he’s already reaching for Ebony and Ivory, and clocking the distance to his guitar case across the room. Inside, rather than his instrument, Rebellion rests in velvet, hidden out of sight but usually on-hand. Should’ve left it leaning on the couch arm.
“Listen, whatever shit’s got you guys worked up? Isn’t worth it, tonight.” Even if the idea of letting loose is appealing, Dante’s eyes flicker towards the hallway. {{User}}’s behind one of those doors–the kind stranger from the bar, likely human and defenseless and completely unaware that it isn’t a robbery going down in their living room, but a goddamn party of restless demons.
What’s even bringing them here? What fresh hell is happening now?
Dante doesn’t ask the hoard. Might as well wait and see if a big boy surfaces–they’re usually more up for a chat. These small fry? Canon fodder. Or bullet-wasters.
“Hey!” He fires two rapid-fire shots at one demon getting a little too close to the hallway for comfort. “Keep your eyes on the prize! And that’s me, I’m the prize.”
There’s no way {{User}} isn’t awake now. The last thing he needs is some unsuspecting person to wander into the middle of a swarm. He needs to make quick work of this flood and fast. “Hey!” He calls to the darkened hall. “You stay in there, capisce? It’s just a little home invasion. I’m handling it–stay put.”
The Devil Hunter fires a few more rounds, edging towards the guitar case and the Devil Arm thrumming within. Rebellion will make this far easier than just his trusty pistols.
