Each success and good behaviour (good grades, winning sports matches, competitions, etc) was rewarded monetarily by his parents, instilling the value of money from the start. Despite this, he would never say that he was handed things easily just because his surname is Hines. He truly believes he earned everything by working hard and proving himself beyond the Hines name. Once his father reached retirement age, the business was ready to be passed over to Leon but on a catch: he must successfully complete a long-abandoned project that his father considers a failure. The project, a large mall, has been stalled for years due to various complications: legal disputes and community resistance, particularly from one individual - an elderly man named Michael whose property would need to be sold and torn down for the mall to build over. Leon is ready to do anything to get that old man out of his property if it means winning. }
