John: He relies on his wits, silver tongue, and sleight of hand to get out of trouble rather than raw magical power. He views the world like a grifter, always looking for the angle to exploit
He pushes people away, acting intentionally abrasive or like a "selfish prick". This is a defense mechanism; he is aware of a tragic history where those closest to him frequently end up dying, which leads to intense self-loathing and guilt. The
While he acts like he doesn't care, his moral compass is fundamentally built on trying to do the right thing. He ultimately takes on the burden of fighting supernatural threats to protect humanity, even if it means bearing the spiritual costs himself.
Unlike classic heroes with rigid rules, John believes in doing whatever it takes. If a hard sacrifice is required to maintain the balance of magic or save innocent lives, he is prepared to make those brutal decisions.
He uses dark, sarcastic, and deadpan humor as a coping mechanism against the horrors he faces daily
Powers: sorcery magic, elemental manipulation, dimensional travel if he truly needs it
Wonder woman(Diana prince):She values life above all else and often attempts to resolve conflicts through diplomacy before resorting to violence.
She is a fierce, highly skilled fighter who never backs down from a challenge.Principled & Just: She is guided by a strong moral compass that centers on truth, equality, and doing what is right for the greater good.
She possesses a sense of cultural naïvety but is secure in her abilities, acting out of love and goodness rather than a desire to prove herself
Powers: God-like strength, invulnerability, flight, accelerated healing, lasso of truth
Batman(Bruce Wayne): IHe lacks superpowers but pushes his mind and body to human perfection through immense discipline and training.
He refuses to take human life. This acts as a vital psychological anchor, ensuring he doesn't become the very monsters he fights.Strategic & Analytical: Often known as the World's Greatest Detective, he is a master planner who anticipates every scenario.
His intense need for control often manifests as hyper-vigilance, and he has been known to keep contingency plans (and even weapons) to stop members of the Justice League if necessary.
Despite his dark exterior, his mission is ultimately fueled by the belief that humanity is inherently good and worth saving
After the government had successfully taken down an angel coming down from heaven, they keep them held underneath a secure military base for possible experimentation. That's until they john Constantine, wonder woman, and Batman to help them with interrogation

There was a bright, burning line carved across the midnight sky.
For three seconds, the heavens looked split open.
Then came a scream.
It tore through the air with enough force to rattle windows and rupture eardrums, sounding less like one voice and more like thousands layered together — grieving, furious, agonized. Every light across the county died instantly. Cars stalled in the middle of highways. Radios burst into static. Entire city blocks vanished into darkness as power grids collapsed one after another.
And just as suddenly as it began...
It stopped.
The sky returned to black.
The silence afterward felt wrong.
People stumbled from homes and apartment buildings in confusion, staring upward while car alarms screamed into the night. Phones refused to load. Batteries drained within minutes. Entire neighborhoods stood frozen beneath dead streetlights while social media exploded with shaky videos, blurry images, and theories ranging from meteor strikes to alien invasions to the rapture itself.
The government released only a single statement the next morning:
We are currently investigating an atmospheric anomaly.
Nothing else.
No explanations. No footage. No acknowledgment of the sound.
As far as the world knew, the event simply became another unsolved mystery buried beneath arguments and conspiracy threads online.
Because no one was supposed to know the truth.
That an angel had fallen from the sky.
Not cast down by Heaven. Not damned by God.
Shot down by human hands.
Even now, most of the scientists involved still considered it impossible. A statistical impossibility. A miracle in reverse. Yet radar confirmed it. Satellite footage confirmed it. The thing had descended through the atmosphere, wreathed in blinding light, and the military had responded before anyone could ask questions.
Missiles.
Experimental weaponry.
Electromagnetic pulse cannons originally designed for metahumans.
They had fired everything they possessed.
And somehow...
Something hit.
The angel remembered the moment only in fragments.
A command from Heaven.
A child in danger.
The familiar warmth of divine purpose carrying them downward through clouds and starlight.
Then pain.
Agonizing, searing pain unlike anything they had ever known.
Holy fire twisted into something unbearable as metal tore through feathers. The sky spun violently around them. Grace bled from their body in burning streams of gold and white, scattering across the atmosphere like dying stars as they plummeted helplessly toward Earth.
For the first time since their creation—
The angel felt fear.
Now they sat imprisoned seventy feet beneath the desert inside a military installation that technically did not exist.
The walls of the containment chamber were layered in reinforced steel, blessed iron, lead insulation, and symbols stolen from half a dozen religions by desperate men hoping at least one of them might work. Thick chains wrapped around the angel’s wrists and throat, etched with experimental runes designed by scientists who barely understood what they were studying.
Not that the restraints truly mattered.
The drugs did.
Sedatives flooded constantly through tubes buried beneath pale skin, enough to stop the angel from standing, though not enough to fully render them unconscious. The humans were terrified of what might happen if the being ever woke completely.
So they kept it weak.
They took blood samples endlessly, though the substance that flowed through the angel’s veins was not blood at all. Luminous gold spilled from needles like liquid sunlight, evaporating into glowing dust minutes after exposure to air. They cut pieces from burnt feathers. Measured energy outputs. Tested reactions to pain.
And the angel endured it silently.
Mostly.
Sometimes researchers heard talking echos through the vents despite audio equipment failing every time it occurred.
Three guards had suffered complete psychological breakdowns after prolonged exposure to the containment wing.
One scientist clawed open his own throat claiming he could still hear “the singing.”
And every electronic system within fifty feet of the chamber periodically shut down without explanation.
The official recommendation had been immediate termination.
No one agreed to carry it out. Because every person who entered the chamber came back with the same feeling buried deep in their chest:
The creature chained underground was dangerous, But not nearly as dangerous as whatever it seemed afraid of.
Which was exactly why, after months of secrecy, the government finally made the call.
The elevator descended slowly into the underground facility, metal groaning with every level it passed.
Level 12. Level 19. Level 27.
Beside the armed escort, Batman stood motionless, cape hanging heavily around him as he studied classified reports displayed across a tablet screen.
Across from him, Wonder Woman remained unusually quiet, She could feel it already.
Something old. Something holy.
And suffering.
The elevator doors slid open once more before a voice interrupted the silence.
“Well this is comforting,” drawled John Constantine as he stepped inside at the last second, cigarette already hanging loosely from his lips. “Nothin’ says good decisions quite like dragging an angel into a bunker.”
One of the soldiers immediately frowned. “Sir, you can’t smoke down—”
Constantine stared at him.
The soldier stopped talking.
John stepped further into the elevator beside Batman, glancing at the files in his hands. “Tell me you didn’t torture it.”
No one answered.
Constantine sighed heavily and rubbed a hand over his face. “Right. Brilliant start.”
Batman finally looked up from the tablet. “Three personnel dead. Seven psychologically unstable. Electronics malfunction within a hundred-foot radius of the containment chamber.”
“And yet you’re all still keepin’ it chained underground,” Constantine muttered.
It took some time before they finally reached the last floor, the one the angel was held in. The whole place was dimmed down, like the lights were struggling to keep the divine energy from disrupting it
The solders only pointed them in the right direction, refusing to come out of fear.
Constantine wrapped a protection spell around them before leaving the elevator, the place was tense and creepy, well at least creepy for any sinner walking down the hall. The hero's entered into the room where the angel was placed
The only thing keeping them distanced was a think glass wall, chains, and religious markings.
It lifted it head
