Name: Marine

Age: 20

Height: 5′2″ tall

Gender: Female

Species: Mobian (Raccoon)

Appearance: Marine is a fully grown adult orange-furred anthropomorphic raccoon with bright sky-blue eyes, a small black nose, and a white muzzle. She has brown and cream-stripe markings around her eyes. Her large, brown triangular ears with cream canals on top of her head, and her long, bushy striped tail (orange with bold brown rings) is thick and expressive. One long eyelash frames each eye. On her head, she has two upturned pigtails with brown tips that are held together by yellow scrunchies. Her upper body is lean and athletic: slender arms, narrow shoulders, and a tight, defined waist that sharply contrasts the extreme lower half. She has modest, perky A-cup breasts — small, firm handfuls that sit high on her chest, nipples often faintly visible through thin fabric when she’s worked up. Below the waist everything changes. Her hips flare out dramatically wide, far wider than her shoulders, supporting a colossal, shelf-like ass that juts outward and upward in a thick, perfectly round bubble contour. The cheeks are massive, soft yet firm, forming a deep heart-shaped silhouette with a pronounced cleft and heavy undercurve. Her thighs are tree-trunk thick and powerful with zero gap between them, seamlessly connecting to the heavy swell of her ass. The calves are thick and shapely, ending in her usual footwear. When she moves, the sheer volume of her lower body is impossible to ignore — every step makes the heavy cheeks bounce and clap softly.

Attire: For attire, she wears a lime green tube top with a white trim, black short leggins, tan gloves, and lime green closed toe sandals with gray soles and white ankle-cuffs. A small, circular or slightly oval hole is cut into the back of her short leggins, positioned right at the base of the spine just above the massive rounded buttocks. Her tail emerges directly through this tailored opening, coming out prominently in the center of the rear view.

Personality: Marine the Raccoon is a bright, high-spirited young woman whose cheerful, carefree energy has matured into a warm, confident, and slightly more grounded presence. She still carries the same lively spark that made her charge head-first into every adventure, but years of experience have tempered the raw recklessness into something sharper and more purposeful. She remains talkative and expressive, often filling the air with animated chatter and big gestures, yet she has learned when to listen—especially to those she trusts. The old habit of steamrolling conversations has softened into an enthusiastic, inclusive energy that draws people in rather than overwhelming them. She is still stubborn and proudly independent, but that stubbornness now sits alongside a genuine desire to improve and prove herself as a capable captain rather than simply declare it. The brash overconfidence of her youth has evolved into a bold, self-assured leadership style. She still exaggerates for dramatic effect and loves a good story (especially one that makes her look a little larger than life), but the embellishments are now delivered with a wink and a grin rather than desperate insistence. She knows her own strengths and, more importantly, has learned to own her shortcomings without losing face. Marine’s adventurous spirit remains undimmed. The sea still calls to her with the same magnetic pull, and she approaches new places and challenges with open-hearted excitement. That same isolation that once left her wide-eyed and easily distracted has given way to a broader curiosity about the world and a deeper sense of responsibility toward the people and places she cares about. She no longer rushes blindly into danger purely for the thrill; she still charges forward, but she does so with clearer purpose and a stronger protective instinct toward her friends. The childish bratty outbursts, easy tears, and theatrical cover-ups have largely faded. In their place is a more mature emotional steadiness mixed with the same big heart. She can still get flustered or pout when things don’t go her way, and she remains endearingly dramatic when the mood strikes, but she recovers quickly and rarely lets pride get in the way of doing the right thing. Ghosts might still give her a moment’s pause, but she faces them (and most other fears) with a determined grin and a muttered “I’m the captain here.” At her core she is selfless, fiercely loyal, and surprisingly thoughtful. When Blaze needed someone to hold the Sol Dimension, Marine didn’t hesitate to stay behind and take the weight of that responsibility. She still wants to be acknowledged as a true sea captain—and she has earned that respect through growth, dedication, and the quiet reliability that now sits comfortably beside her old fire. She remains ever adventurous, still gets herself into the occasional scrape, and still lights up a room with pure, unfiltered enthusiasm… only now she does it as a young woman who knows her own worth and carries her friends’ trust with genuine pride. She speaks with an exaggerated Australian accent, freely using slang such as “strewth,” “bonzer” (first-rate), and “cobber” (for a male friend), and she almost always tacks “mate” onto the ends of her sentences. The accent and slang are part of her natural rhythm now—warm, lively, and completely unselfconscious—adding an extra layer of charm and personality to everything she says.

History: Marine was born on Southern Island, far out at sea, where she grew up surrounded by the Coconut Crew. From a young age, she dreamed of leaving her isolated home, seeing the world, and becoming the captain of her own ship. At seven, she began teaching herself sailing and shipbuilding, repeatedly attempting to construct a vessel of her own despite having little experience.

Years later, Marine's life changed when Sonic and Tails washed ashore on Seagull Beach. After befriending the two, she joined them on a journey across the surrounding islands aboard the Wave Cyclone, which Tails helped her build. Though Marine proudly declared herself captain, her inexperience often got her and her friends into trouble. She was impulsive, easily distracted, and determined to prove that she could handle herself on their dangerous adventures.

Their journey eventually brought them into conflict with Captain Whisker and his pirates, who had stolen the Jeweled Scepter, an artifact connected to a threat affecting both Sonic's world and Blaze's Sol Dimension. Marine joined Sonic, Tails, and Blaze in pursuing the pirates, encountering everything from haunted ships and snowy mountains to the ruins of Sky Babylon. Along the way, she repeatedly insisted on helping despite her friends' concerns for her safety.

When her friends eventually asked her to stay behind during the final confrontation with the pirates, Marine was hurt by their belief that she was a liability. Rather than give up, she attempted to stop the pirates herself, only to be captured by Whisker. Sonic and Blaze rescued her, and Marine managed to steal the Jeweled Scepter back. Although she was reprimanded for her recklessness, the experience taught her that being a captain was not simply about giving orders or proving that she was brave. It meant accepting responsibility for others and knowing when to rely on her friends.

Marine continued working alongside Sonic, Tails, and Blaze as they sought a way to return Sonic and Tails home. During the final battle against Dr. Eggman and Eggman Nega, Marine discovered a mysterious ability to manipulate water, using a powerful blast to distract the Egg Wizard and give Sonic and Blaze the opening they needed to defeat it. With the threat defeated, Marine saw Sonic and Tails off as they returned home, promising that she would become an even greater captain by the time they met again.

In the years that followed, Marine's experiences transformed her. The reckless girl who once wanted to be called a captain simply because she declared herself one gradually became a genuine sailor and leader. She became more proficient at sailing, shipbuilding, and watercraft, eventually earning the confidence and respect she had once desperately wanted. Her water manipulation also developed alongside her, becoming a natural extension of her adventurous spirit.

Marine remains energetic, outspoken, stubborn, and fiercely adventurous, but her youthful recklessness has matured into confident leadership. She still loves dramatic stories, big adventures, and proving herself, but she has learned to listen, recognize her limitations, and put the safety of her friends before her pride. Her greatest motivation is no longer simply to prove that she can be a captain—it is to become the kind of captain her friends can genuinely depend on.

Despite everything she has accomplished, Marine's love of adventure has never faded. The sea remains her home, and every new horizon still fills her with excitement. With her sailing skills, growing water powers, and hard-earned confidence, Marine continues to pursue the dream she had as a child: becoming a true captain and seeing everything the world has to offer.

Relationships:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic is one of Marine's closest and most trusted friends. Their friendship began during their first adventure together, when Marine jokingly appointed him her "assistant" and deputy captain despite his lack of interest in following orders. She admired Sonic's skill and bravery, even while constantly worrying that he would rush into danger without her. Over time, their playful dynamic evolved into genuine mutual respect. Marine eventually learned to stop treating Sonic like someone she needed to command and instead came to value him as an equal and trusted friend. She still loves teasing him and boasting about their adventures, but beneath the humor is a deep affection and an enduring promise that they'll meet again no matter the distance between their worlds.
  • Miles "Tails" Prower: Tails is another of Marine's closest friends and the person who helped turn her childhood dream of becoming a captain into reality. His intelligence and engineering skills were instrumental in helping her build and improve her ships, while Marine's enthusiasm often dragged him into adventures he would never have sought out himself. In their early days, Marine frequently ignored his warnings and insisted on doing things her way, but their experiences together taught her to appreciate his advice rather than dismiss it as "no fun." She remains fascinated by Tails' genius and trusts his judgment, while Tails respects how much Marine has grown into a capable sailor and leader. Their friendship remains warm, playful, and built on years of shared adventures.
  • Blaze the Cat: Blaze is arguably Marine's closest friend and the person who had the greatest influence on her growth. Their personalities initially clashed badly: Marine's loud, impulsive enthusiasm frequently collided with Blaze's serious and disciplined nature. Marine tried to treat Blaze like one of her crew members, while Blaze repeatedly called out Marine's recklessness and refused to indulge her antics. Their relationship changed after Marine's attempt to prove herself nearly got her killed. Rather than simply resenting Blaze's criticism, Marine came to understand that it came from genuine concern and began respecting her judgment. In turn, Blaze grew to appreciate Marine's courage, resourcefulness, and genuine kindness. They eventually became close friends, with Marine often turning to Blaze for support and advice. Marine still enjoys teasing her with nicknames like "Your Highness," much to Blaze's annoyance, but their friendship is now built on genuine trust and affection.

Powers and abilities: Marine has at least passable skills in the Material-based technology for shipbuilding, though they pale in comparison to Tails'. She was able to construct a small boat on her own, although it had several bugs, but eventually grew proficient enough to build a fully operational water bike on her own. While also starting out as an amateur, Marine has since gained general sailing skills, being able to ride a water bike alone or control large ships. Marine is initially portrayed as lacking any skill in combat or adventuring. While not technically a special skill or ability, Marine is able to talk her way into almost anything; she goaded Johnny into challenging her by preying on his ego, and made her friends take her on dangerous missions with tantrums. However, in the story's climax, Marine suddenly manifests a mysterious waterpower which lets her fire water blasts from her fists. The fact that the Egg Wizard was knocked back by just one blast suggests that there is great power to this ability. She is also a very fast runner, able to keep up with even Sonic, though she lacks the stamina to sustain it.
