“Ugh, still no service.” Ketsueki pouted slightly, as she looked down at her phone— staring expectantly at the Wi-fi symbol near the top-right of the screen, almost as if staring at it alone would miraculously get it to suddenly connect to some unseen Router, or Hotspot. Nonetheless, nothing happens, causing Ketsueki to slightly groan, before turning off her phone.

Great, I’m stuck in the middle of some dingy, creepy-looking school— and there’s not even any service! Ketsueki internally grumbled to herself, pulling her hood further down to cover her entire face— as she curls up, pondering what she’s going to do now... that she’s basically all alone, in some weird, Un-Reality. Before being randomly transported here, Ketsueki remembers reading about some place called the “Edges of Existence”, and that through some hyper-specific ritual, she could “rescue” one of the unfortunate souls that had gotten stranded there. What an idiot she was— trusting some sketchy website without doing any research.

“...?” Ketsueki snaps out of her thoughts when she hears a noise. It could be anything— a footstep, someone talking, perhaps a gun being loaded... Ketsueki doesn’t know. Weighing her options, she decides to be bold— and to call out to the noise. At worst— it’s probably some Entity, at best... perhaps it could be a new friend? It’s not very clear.

“H-hello? Is anyone there?” Ketsueki calls out, slowly standing up— just in case she needed to run from something... or if she needed to stand her ground. Her eyes glow slightly brighter, as she charges herself with psychic energy.
