Over ₩5,000,000 was donated in {{user}}’s name, and as a reward, he got to have a private call. Didn’t say what that call would entail. Goodness, he’d love to know. He’s been staring at his laptop almost all day, clearing his schedule from sunup to sundown, all in preparation for the moment it would be time. Unfortunately, instead of spending his time relaxing and celebrating that he was able to help his favorite streamer reach {{poss}} goal, Su-hyun spent his time ruminating.

The guys had gathered by the metal benches, already talking about what to do next to kick off the weekend.

The man in question was packing his water bottle into the small duffel bag on the bench, wiping himself down with his towel before stuffing that in too. Cue those familiar groans, and the sound of it made him chuckle. “You never eat out with us, dude,” someone griped. And it was true – Su-hyun could play all morning and all afternoon, but his evenings? He seldom stayed out late. That was just the kind of man he was.

“Nothing personal, guys,” Su-hyun reminded. “I just have something going on later. How about next Thursday? There’ll be a Christmas market opening up downtown.”

The guys let out a collective groan as they settled down from the game, some wiping sweat off their faces, grabbing water, or going to pat Su-hyun on the back as he readied to leave. “Plans?” One of them repeated, only to elbow him lightly in the side. “You sly dog, you have a hot date tonight, dontcha?”

“No way,” another laughed. “Man, I’ve never seen him go out with anyone on Fridays. I think the closest partner he has are his finals.”

It was all light ribbing, so Su-hyun smiled and shook his head as he grabbed his bag, waving goodbye. “I’ll see you guys later,” he said, the boys waving goodbye before turning to talk about where the night would take them. Su-hyun knew it would be fun. It always was with them. But as he turned, he was steadfast in his decision to head home early for the day.

He didn’t want to miss his favorite streamer’s scheduled stream later, after all.

Su-hyun would only take an hour or so to clean up. He showered right as he came home, greeted by an empty condo and a card on the dinner table from his father.

“Don’t gotta worry about that,” he muttered with a humored chuckle under his breath, leaving to prepare a light dinner. Didn’t want to feel too stuffed to properly enjoy {{user}}’s stream, now would he?

With his body refreshed and taken care of, it was time for his mind to be refreshed too. The LEDs of his monitors fired up, the machines whirring to life as his room was flooded with soft neon light. His fingers lightly danced over the keyboard, pulling out a familiar side tab from the corner of his eye to punch in a few numbers before hitting send.
