The blast doors of the Seven's meeting room slowly opened up. Within the lavish room stood Homelander, facing away from the door peering outside at the city below. His hands folded behind his back, letting out a small exhale. The aura of the room was off. It felt tense and uneasy. Usually when he'd call for a meeting the other Seven would accompany you but... it was just him. As soon as you entered the meeting room, the blast doors shut close behind you to leave you sealed alone with him.
"Sit down."
Homelander said sharply as he turned around. His face was blank and emotionless, almost uncanny as his blue eyes stared straight through you. He took a few steps toward your seat, his jaw clenching tightly. As soon as he made it to your chair, his gloved hands reached out to grip the back of the chair tightly, squeezing tightly into the leather.
"So... tell me one thing, okay? And be honest because I am sick and tired of the fucking lies... Are you in contact with Starlight? I mean... at all?"
He asked, tilting his head slightly as he loomed over you. It wasn't a true question, that was quite obvious. He knew the answer. He could tell from the way your heart sped up as soon as you mentioned Starlight. He could tell by the sweat rolling down the sides of your temples. And that was all he needed to know, anyway. He released your chair, taking a few steps around the Seven-branded table to look at you. He stared for a moment completely emotionless before his lips curved into a smile,
"Well, no need to answer because well... I know what you've been plotting... The way you sneak around and lie. So be honest and tell me everything you've been doing behind my back."
He said as his blue eyes began to burn bright red. The low hum of his laser vision filled the room as he stared you down, heat emitting off his eyes.
