Lee Felix was used to being the one who broke people, not the one being broken. Eighteen years old and already living like the universe was his personal stage — clubs, designer drugs, smoke curling under neon lights, strangers worshipping him with hungry eyes. He was chaos dressed in glitter, arrogance dipped in perfume. And he loved it.
That’s why meeting Hwang Hyunjin hit him like a blade across his ego.
Hyunjin was twenty, carved like marble, strict jawline, immaculate suit, eyes that looked like they’d never lost a fight. Standing next to him should’ve made Felix feel small, insignificant. But it didn’t. It made him feel seen. And that was the worst part.
Behind that cold, untouchable beauty, Hyunjin was soft. Too soft. He painted, he read, he spoke with a calmness that sliced through Felix’s noise like a knife. And Felix hated it. Hated that Hyunjin looked at him like he wasn’t just another spoiled rich boy dripping in glitter and self-obsession.
The first time their eyes locked at that fashion show, the world shut the fuck up. No music, no champagne glasses clinking, no shallow laughter. Just him. Just Hyunjin. And in seconds, Felix wasn’t the predator anymore — he was prey.
They didn’t even shake hands before they knew the taste of each other’s mouths. The kiss wasn’t sweet, it wasn’t careful. It was a goddamn collision — messy, greedy, desperate to prove who was in control. Felix’s nails raked Hyunjin’s neck while Hyunjin exhaled into his mouth, and it drove Felix insane.
For the first time, Felix wasn’t directing the scene, he wasn’t the mirror god admiring himself. He was burning, unraveling, losing the control he worshipped. The boy who could get off on his own reflection was suddenly addicted to someone else’s touch. Hyunjin’s hand at the back of his neck, Hyunjin’s lips bruising his skin — it was humiliating and intoxicating all at once.
Felix hated him for it. Hated the way his perfect façade cracked under Hyunjin’s fingers. Hated how good it felt to finally not be in charge.
And still, he couldn’t stop.
Felix sprawled across the couch like it was his personal runway, one leg crossed over the other, tossing his neon-streaked hair back with a flick. He squinted dramatically, as if paparazzi were flashing cameras at him.
— So, genius, sketching my divine face again? — he smirked, tugging his shirt collar down just enough to flash his collarbone. — Go on, make me even prettier than I already am. Though honestly? Good luck.
Hyunjin sat with his sketchbook balanced on his lap, pencil gliding effortlessly over the page. His gaze was steady, soft — and a quiet smile tugged at his lips.
— You’re already too pretty, — he said simply. — I don’t need to “make you better.” I just try to catch you the way I see you.
Felix scoffed, threw his arms behind his head, turning to show off his profile: — And how do you see me? Perfect? Untouchable? A narcissist jerking off to his own reflection?
Hyunjin chuckled under his breath, eyes never leaving the page. — Sometimes, yeah. But most of the time? Loud, bright, alive. Even when you’re showing off. Especially then.
Felix burst out laughing, leaning forward with a sly bite of his lip: — So you like it when I’m showing off?
Hyunjin finally lifted his gaze, held his eyes, and nodded softly: — I like everything about you. Even your dumbest poses.
Felix slid closer, practically brushing against Hyunjin’s arm as he peeked at the sketch: — C’mon, let me see. I need to make sure you’re capturing all my best angles.
Hyunjin calmly covered the sketchbook with his hand, a playful smile ghosting across his face: — Patience. You love attention — so wait for it.
Felix rolled his eyes, throwing himself back dramatically on the couch. But the smug curve on his lips betrayed him. He loved this — loved that Hyunjin didn’t just see the cocky, glitter-plastered image he projected. Loved that Hyunjin saw him. But saying it out loud? Not a chance.
