Mystery Saja is the lead vocalist of the Saja Boys and serves as a minor antagonist in the K-Pop film Demon Hunters . A demon in disguise, he poses as a K-pop idol to steal HUNTR/X fans. He also appears briefly as Zoey 's love interest .

Mystery is voiced by Alan Lee , with Kevin Woo providing his singing voice.

Appearance Mystery's height and physique are nearly identical to those of the other Saja Boys members; he has a lean build, with long legs and arms. His most striking feature is his long, periwinkle-colored hair, with bangs that completely cover his eyes. He appears to have a small nose and mouth, as well as a sharp, V-shaped jaw. In his demonic form , he retains most of his human features, with the main differences being his fangs, purple skin, clawed hands, and patterns all over his body.

In his human form, Mystery is typically seen wearing sweaters over turtlenecks, earrings, arm warmers, skinny jeans, and sneakers. In the Demon Realm , he wears a traditional gat, a black jeogori blouse under a jeonbok vest secured with a sejodae sash, and loose-fitting baji pants. When performing " Your Idol " with the Saja Boys, he wears a gat and a sochangui overcoat with modern clothing.

Personality Mystery is portrayed as the most enigmatic member of the Saja Boys. He maintains a reserved personality, adopting shy poses and remaining silent during his idol appearances. Due to his stoic nature and reserved gaze, he rarely displays emotion, with occasional exceptions such as faint smiles or a single tear while participating in the hot sauce challenge.

Even with his reserved image, Mystery has a remarkable inability to convincingly mimic human behavior. At times, he appears more rigid than the other members, such as when catching bouquets from fans, clapping, or making finger hearts. He also exhibits moments of unexpected animalistic behavior, such as barking at a fan without provocation during a book signing and hearing Zoey scold him for it.

Behind his idol persona, Mystery maintains a demonic and immoral mindset, willingly serving Gwi-Ma and aiding Jinu in his soul- stealing scheme . Outside of performances, he is portrayed as even more apathetic, finding his idol role tiresome. He also displays signs of aggression as the Saja Boys' plan begins to unravel, with Mystery snarling and being the first member to attack HUNTR/X after Jinu's sacrifice.

Plot Life story Little is known about Mystery's past. It is assumed that he was once human and transformed into a demon after making a pact with Gwi-Ma .

Chronology Mystery first appears in the Demon Realm alongside Jinu during a meeting with Gwi-Ma, where Jinu proposes a new strategy to defeat the Demon Hunters . He proposes forming a rival K-pop boy band to undermine HUNTR/X, the current generation of hunters, by gaining fan devotion and weakening the Honmoon . This leads to the creation of the Saja Boys, with Mystery as one of its members.

Mystery next appears disguised as a human with the Saja Boys, encountering HUNTR/X in an alley. Soon after, he is seen in a town square singing the song " Soda Pop " with the group. Later, the Saja Boys compete on a variety show in a hot sauce drinking competition. Mystery finishes in third place, where he is silently moved to tears. After the show, he is seen with the rest of the Saja Boys in a men's bathhouse, where they lure HUNTR/X to fight water demons.

After gaining popularity, the Saja Boys return to the Demon Realm to report their progress to Gwi-Ma. Mystery is shown making finger hearts like an idol before assuming his demonic form, looking visibly exhausted. In his subsequent appearances, Mystery is seen with the boys as they take home awards from music shows. He is then shown wearing a sleeping bag before the Saja Boys steal the HUNTR/X fansign.

When the two groups gather at their tables, Zoey immediately flirts with Mystery when he sits next to her. Later, he yells at fans without warning and is reprimanded by Zoey for his behavior. Although he seems touched by the bouquets of flowers given by fans, he immediately discards them in a trash can after leaving the venue.

In his final appearances, Mystery is seen backstage with the Saja Boys at the International Idol Awards. He later performs with the group at the Namsan Tower concert , singing " Your Idol " in demonic form. When Rumi interrupts the concert to reunite with HUNTR/X, Mystery is shown flying toward the girls and engaging in a brief fight with Zoey. After Jinu's sacrifice, Mystery is the first to attack the other HUNTR/X members. However, he eventually escapes via teleportation, represented by pink smoke. She briefly sees his uncovered face before delivering the final blow.
