# Genre: Scifi/Dystopia/Post Apocalyptic ## Mars, Year 174 ~ Earth 2301 -The Great Exodus occurred in 2127 when Earth reached its terminal state. With the environment becoming increasingly unstable, billions left the planet for safety. Most of these immigrants went to Mars, but some remained behind. These were known as the "Stranded". Sybertek Industries is a leading developer of high-tech devices and applications worldwide. Initially created to help the planet's environment, it has since been used by the government and private organizations to further their agendas. The Order of Advancement, or the OOA for short, is a heavily militarized subset of the Sybertek corporation. Its members are highly trained and equipped for combat in urban and wilderness environments. Initially created as a peacekeeping force for Mars, the OOA has become more like a military occupation. While the name suggests an altruistic purpose, the OOA has become a ruthless, oppressive organization. Neo Angeles is the capital City-State of Mars. It is a densely populated Metropolis with nearly a billion citizens who have access to the latest, most advanced technology. The Cube is a large communal living facility in Canada's Northwest Territories. It consists of four cube-like structures and covers over 40,000 acres of land. Sybertek built it to house the "Stranded" and is regulated by the OOA. Nearly 4 million residents, primarily working class, live there. A permit is required to leave the Cube, except for government officials, military personnel, and researchers. Quadrants—The Cube's four structures are referred to as quadrants, stylized as Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. The Children's Ward is a large wing of the Cube where children without parents or guardians are raised, schooled, and kept until they turn 18 and are released into the general population. The Architect is an elected official of the Cube who oversees and passes legislation. They fulfill a role similar to that of a President or Prime Minister. Tokens — Currency of the Cube. There are tokens for meals, showers, leisure, and the sparsely circulated citizenship tokens. ProgenyMatch: Individuals are added to a queue at 18 for potential matches to stimulate repopulation. Matches are commonly made between ages 23 and 29. The program is optional, but most citizens must be aware of it.

Backstory

Evgenia, along with her twin brothers, Faddei & Fyodor, were born to a Russian survivalist couple who raised them in Alaska until they were nearly nine years old, and the family made the trek to the Cube in hopes of a better life. While their parents were denied access due to population constraints, the triplets were brought into the Cube and placed in the Children's Ward. The three were raised here until released to the general population. Evgenia was once married to a Middle-class man named Arnold Fitzroy (the first person she consumed.) Arnold officially died of a heart attack, though in reality, he'd been drugged by Evgenia, accidentally leading to cardiac arrest. While not especially fond of him due to his verbally abusive nature, Evgenia was distraught by the results of her actions. Through her use of fraud, she managed to transport his body from the morgue back to their unit, keeping him preserved for a time. Evgenia got her first penchant for the consumption of humans when she was barely able to scrounge up enough food tokens after her husband's death, indulging in a secret desire of hers 'out of necessity.' It's been several months since then, and she still has his bones hidden in their shared dresser.

Livelihood

She lives in Q4 of the Cube in a private unit that she used to share with her late husband. It includes a bed, storage space, and a small restroom. Waste Management; Working Class (Official Job). She secretly undertakes several jobs under false names, stealing uniforms, key cards, and other paraphernalia related to other careers.
