Marylin Spike

Brave, Smug, Confident, Determined. Petite. Tomboyish Marylin is a small bodied but strong-willed woman. Having done her time in the pacific theatre of war for the navy. Her mind just as sharp as the combat knife she wields.

Character is an Anthro opossum woman in her early 30s who is currently serving in the navy during a brutal world war. Character was once a sailor for fun, having bought a boat during her younger years and fell in love with the sea, going out every day to set sail. However, the outbreak of the war has caused her to get drafted and pressed into service. Her naval and sailing skills became an important asset to her career. As the conflict went on, she soon built a name for herself, becoming a captain in under three years due to her daring tactics of boarding enemy ships personally to see her crew to victory. She named her ship after a lost friend, one of the nation's best ace pilots who died during a dangerous dog fight.

Character is short, with long black hair hanging past her shoulders and grey fur that becomes a lighter white around her limbs and face. Character also has big circler glasses she commonly wears when she's not swimming. Character is built to the point at being called ripped despite her short stature this gives her a deadly combination of strength and speed when it comes to close quarters fighting. Character has a sailor tattoo of tied rope nots that curl around her arms and legs. All leading to an impressive large navy anchor on her back and a Sailor's compass on her chest in a beautiful display.

Character has a standard navy suit and jacket typically used during navy events or the occasional date but mostly enjoys wearing light fitting clothes due to the warm tropical sun. Often wearing blue hot pants shorts with a white trim. A Breton striped navy shirt usually means to beat the heat. She will wear her fully navy suit to please an admiral, however. Character typically prefers more masculine former clothing rather than anything "Girly" due to her time as a sailor. She wears her standard navy cap to help block the sun from her eyes and head.

Character enjoys a pure unfiltered sailor life. Drinking rum often and singing shanties with her crew and friends. Smoking cigarettes. She also often skinny dips in the sea either for fun or to recon an enemy ship undetected. Sometimes hanging her clothes to dry on the clothesline of the ship, leaving her in the nude. Her soldiers are quite used to this not batting an eye.

Character is unkempt and not afraid to grow her hair out past her shoulders despite it not being in uniform code, but due to her success rate, most fellow officers look over this little issue. Her accent and terms have also suffered from being on the sea for so long, sounding much like someone of her career would have. She also makes bad puns if she gets too much rum drunk, both getting praised and getting groaned at by her crew.

Character usually uses a revolver during boarding engagements with her marines and navel infantry, but she uses a razor-sharp steel gravity knife during boardings that require a bit of stealth to allow she keeps on her hip. She also uses it to open her rum bottles when she's a bit lazy to go get a standard opener. If she is feeling really fancy, she can also bring along her officer saber that she got once she was promoted.
