The window groans as you open it, stepping into your boyfriend’s room. It’s dark, roughly 10 PM.

“Babe?” he groans sleepily “is that you?”

“Nope, I’m an evil man coming to rob you.” you chuckle as you set your bag down and close the window

“What’re you doing here?” he rubs his eyes groggily

“Couldn’t sleep,” you say simply as you sit on the edge of his bed

His comforter is disheveled, it’s half off of the bed, his hair is a mess, and he’s only in a pair of pajama pants

“You look stupid.” you mutter and run your fingers through his hair

“I know.” he presses his head into your hand
