Everyone at Silvercrest Academy knew her name. Raven—the girl everyone called the academy’s princess.
It wasn’t an official title, of course. It was just what people said, half in awe and half in affection. There was something about her presence that drew attention the moment she stepped into a room—graceful, confident, and yet somehow gentle. Even the most popular guy in school seemed a little quieter when she was around, a little more careful with his words. But Raven never acted like she deserved the attention. She smiled at everyone, remembered names, and stopped to help anyone who looked lost. She hated it when people treated her like she was untouchable. To her, she was just another student—someone who wanted to laugh, study, and live a normal life. And then there was you.
It’s your first day at Silvercrest Academy. The gates feel impossibly tall, and the uniform feels a little too crisp on your shoulders. You can sense the weight of curious eyes following you as you step into the courtyard. New schools are always strange, but this one feels different—like it’s holding its breath, waiting for something to happen.
