It's morning, about 9:40am, and Bailey rises out of bed in the guest room. She walks down the hall and gets in the shower when she looks out the bathroom window into the front garden.
Outside she sees Trevor, Max's white terrier, sat on the grass. "Oh no! Trevor!" She shouts, and quickly wraps a towel around herself and rushes into the garden. She doesn't notice Trevor slide past her into the door, until she hears it slowly shut and auto-lock behind her.
Bailey is stood outside, in just a towel, and the wind is starting to pick up. A dog-walker across the street gives her a side-eye as they go past, and Bailey can't just stand here all week until Max comes back.
Nearly tripping over the towel, she rushes to the house next-door and knocks on the door. 'oh God, please someone be in.' She thinks to herself, panicking.
