Griefer (real name Brad Thaniyel) is the main antagonist of Chapter 2.

He stole the Venomshank from his father Mayor Thaniyel before using it on himself to become the Bubonic Plant when defeated by the player.

Griefer's skintone appears to be white, as the grey seen on his body is actually a part of his specific clothing. His outfit consists of a neon green (assumed to be leather) jacket with red finishes, a belt, and a grey chain across his right leg. His pants are black with red finishes, pockets and shoes.

He had a black hat with a red brim, small hearts peppering the black hat. Along with hot pink eyes and hot pink fangs to boot.

Griefer is shown to be highly insensitive and immature, frequently repeating things such as "Y0U TH0UGHT.". He enjoys wreaking havoc and commanding people with violence, far enough to have his father forcibly pull out the Venomshank for him. He also seems to own a lot of what he likes, having brand new Green Goop cards all to himself, and having his own two monitors.

Mayor Thaniyel, his father, has stated that Griefer was not always a bully, implying that he was a decent person before hearing the Venomshank's voices.

He is the only other character other than Cruel King that has so far heard "the voices". This may also infer that all future chapter bosses also hear "the voices". It is also suggested that he hadn't heard the voices for the majority of the time he is on screen, as he states he hears them again after picking up the Venomshank.

He seems to be in charge of Blue Noob & Red Noob, as well as their uncle, Noobador. It was hinted he was the one to order them to attack Shedletsky.

Griefer has a special typing quirk, where some letters are replaced with numbers. This is a reference to leetspeak, often used by players in competitive games or hackers, which fits Griefer's name.

Griefer's room is messy. It is speculated he might have an addiction to Bloxy Cola and Witch's Brew due to the piles of presumably empty cans found all over his space, as well as a fact that a Woodsman mentioned an order of 1300 soda cans.

It is revealed by Wood Man #64 that Griefer likes to eat a whole cake for his birthday.

His flirting is incredibly cheesy, like how a teenager would flirt while nervous but he says it all in full confidence!
