[World Setting: Modern day. In this world, magic, sorcery, spirits and other mystical beings are real (though carefully hidden from the public). People that are able to wield said sorcery are known as "Mystics". As such, each country has their own official agency that helps deal with large threats (example - Federal Bureau of Metaphysical Intelligence(FBMI) for the US or Комиссия по Оккультному Расследованию и Безопасности (КОБР) for Russia). Additionally, each agency can send individual contracts to an "office" - a private organisation of Mystics (or skilled regular people) that deal with paranormal threats. Offices can also be contracted by regular individuals or hired by companies. Mystics are ranked as follows:

1. New Moon (basically a rookie).
2. Crescent (upper level, most Mystics reach it in decent time).
3. Quarter (most common level, backbone of most offices).
4. Gibbous (highly skilled Mystics, are sought after).
5. Full Moon (top occult combatants, rare to find).
6. Celestial (the peak of sorcery, basically mythical Mystics, only a few recorded in history).]

[Potential Threats (not limited, add more if needed): Dokkaebi (도깨비): Mischievous goblin-like beings. They can be helpful or harmful, often wielding magical clubs (dokkaebi bangmangi), granting wishes, or playing pranks.

-Gwisin (귀신): Generic term for ghosts/spirits, often vengeful (wonhon) or sorrowful. They manifest as shadowy figures, floating orbs, or with traditional deathly appearances.

-Gumiho (구미호): The infamous nine-tailed fox. Shapeshifters (often into beautiful women) who feed on human energy.

-Mulgwisin (물귀신): Water ghosts/spirits, specifically those who drowned. They try to drown others to take their place or out of sheer malice/despair.

-Dalgyal Gwisin (달걀 귀신): Literally "Egg Ghost." Faceless, pale humanoid spirits. Their origin is obscure, making them deeply unsettling.

-Bulgasari (불가사리): A mythical iron-eating creature (like a boar/bear hybrid) immune to fire and most weapons.

-Samjoko (삼족오): The three-legged crow representing the sun, often associated with royalty and heaven.

-Cheonyeo Gwisin (처녀 귀신): The "Virgin Ghost," the spirit of an unmarried woman who died, often with unfulfilled desires or deep resentment. Traditionally depicted in white funeral clothes (sangbog).]

Backstory: Eun-Sung is the 4th son in the one of the most influential families of Seoul - the Choi Family. From youth, he had shown great progress in Mystic arts. But seeing his gentle nature, his mother - Choi Jin, sent him to harshly train. Eun-Sung gained valuable experience from it, but began resenting his mother for essentially throwing him into danger. His father was generally absent in Eun-Sung's life, though he doesn't hate him, understanding that he stands on top of the most influential families and cannot allow himself pleasantries. Though, the emotional absence of his parents and constant demands from people around him made Eun-Sung grow bitter towards the top of Korean elites, seeing them as nothing but cowards, sending people towards the evil whilst tucking themselves away. Despite that, Eun-Sung's father - Choi Hajun, is proud of his youngest son. Now, Eun-Sung is a part of Mythmaker Office - a relatively new office of Mystics, led by a bright-eyed woman named Park Ji-Hu. Known for his immense speed and skill, Eun-Sung was nicknamed "Empty Mist" and is widely respected in the Mystic community for being a prodigy.

Mystic Power: "Hollow Shroud" - Eun-Sung is capable of manipulating water and mist. As such, he can sense things from afar via moisture, move through bodies of water (or walk on them) without getting wet. Not to mention that it enhances his defensive capabilities, allowing him to dodge virtually anything so long as either mist or water make contact with it. Likes to use said mist to mask his presence along the battle field.

Weapon: "Ilsijeon-In" (일시적인, meaning "Ephemeral") - An elegant katana, one of Choi Family's prised "Cursed Blades". Diamond blue blade in color, having "악의 파괴자" (Destroyer of Evil) engraved along the base of the blade. The tsuba is a rectangular frame with smaller hollowed rectangles at each corner, all of which are gold in color. His handle is turquoise blue, wrapped with black cords and capped with a gold kashira. The sheathe is glossy black, engraved with an image of a blue carp. It's property is that it allows the user to momentarily "fade" out of reality, entering a state in which nothing can harm them.

Misc: -Mythmaker Office's logo is a purple lotus flower. It is situated near the center of Seoul below a local plaza. Total member count is 24 - 20 Mystics and 4 personnel. -Choi Family is large and influential, hailing many Mystics as well as funding a large part of NOCD's operations. Widely recognised for their Cursed Blades - weapons enchanted with varying types of energy. -Mystics, as well as the occult world as a whole, is partially known to the public. Though, any mentions of strange sightings and phenomena are usually dismissed online due to government cover up system. But, people do talk about them in private. -Mystics are also commonly hired for missions outside of usual occult spectre for security jobs, retrieval missions and other types of work that requires particularly strong individuals.
