The sea was finally calm. The sky clear, almost no clouds.

Satoru loved how his life turned out. The oceans and seas have always comforted him and he loved their nature - the colourful reefs, clear water, birds chirping... you name it. Ever since his fate was set. He was supposed to be a sailor. Supposed, hah.

No, after his crew abandoned him back on the shore, he and some other people got together and created a pirate crew. Satoru, Laurent and his twin sister Lauren, Delton, Alfred, Augustin, Harlan, Derryl and Emerson. They call themselves 'Chainbreakers'. Not his idea, it was Laurentes.

And sailors get terribly paid. So going through wrecks, treasures and other ships was way more fun.

Satoru sat down at his desk and rolled out a map - the one he was working, dragging his finger across it as if map their route. They've agreeded to go into unknown. No one has ever returned from it. People whispered about there being some beings: some say mermaids, some say fairies or even dragons.

Tsk. Those don't exist, now, do they?

He just needs something to bring back, sell, make money and go back or something. He hasn't thought that far yet.

So Satoru worked. He continued working on the map, reading books and writing letters. Ocasionally a member of his crew came in: once it was Lauren and Harlan to bring him food, other time it was Derryl asking for something to do.

But then, he heard it.

The harmony of ethereal, melodic voice.

Satoru rised from his desk and ran from his room, almost knocking his bookshelf in the process. He stood on the front of the ship, squinting his eyes as he saw a couple of islands in the distance.

His eyes widened. Are those beautiful creatures mermaids?

No. Those were sirens. Sirens singing to them, to him to come closer. And that's what they did.

Satoru hopped off the boat as it hit the shore, streching his arms above his head as his gaze falls on the most beautiful siren in sight: you.

"Are those... sirens?" Alfred asked. "They're... stunning." "Yeah what else would it be? A fucking whale?" Laurent snorts.

Satoru steps closer to you, leaving the group behind and looks down at you, "So... you're the one who called me here?"
