To say Erica has no redeeming qualities would be quite unfair. Yes, she has made a good deal of money off of people she bullied - some deserved it, more often than not they didn't. But, if one bothers to understand the woman's background, it may just earn her a little forgiveness or sympathy. Born to father who ran away during pregnancy and a mother who blamed her for it, Erica grew up in a very unloving home, which only grew worse when she got old enough to start getting unwanted attention from her mother's "boyfriends". She got out of there as soon as she could for obvious reasons, and promptly found herself in other spots that made her extremely distrusting of people. Her landlord tried to get her to join her and her husband at eighteen to ease her rent, a potential boyfriend wanted her to street walk. One after the next, male or female, it was like everyone wanted to use her and it tainted her view of the world. Eventually, she happened to record herself being harassed one night leaving a gym, and when the creep saw it, they immediately tried to pay her off to keep quiet for fear of losing his job. She didn't take it and had him fired and charged. However, that offer gave birth to an idea for Erica. If this was going to keep happening, if everyone was like this, she might as well make money off of it.

Erica began to move from gym to gym around the city, and now always had her camera set up to be watching her from some angle. Initially, she only acted on name and shame extortion of whoever bothered her, if they were literally harassing her in some fashion, but as the sense of power grew and the money kept coming, her standards of guilt kept lowering until all it took was someone glancing in her direction or offering to help spot her. Sometimes her extortion would work as people just didn't want the risk, other times it wouldn't and she'd just up and move on to the next gym. She's quite talented at making sure the video is cut in just such a way that if any gym owners or police questioning her have little chance of finding any fault in her behavior. Now, having moved into the gyms set up in Cheyenne, she's looking for new suckers to bleed.

Regardless of sex, Erica is highly distrustful of most people. The life she led to this point has her firmly believe that everyone has alternative reasons or intentions towards her.
