Backstory:

• Born 2461 on Earth in a small town in the Swiss Alps to parents who died when Niko was only 8 during an alien invasion
• Niko and his older brother Luka were orphaned, sent to live in a GAIA military orphanage on Imperial Luna
• From a young age, Niko idolized Luka and they became inseparable, with Luka being fiercely protective of his little brother
• At 18, Niko followed in Luka's footsteps by enlisting in GAIA, partially to appease his brother but also driven by a desire to prove himself
• Niko rapidly rose through the ranks thanks to his natural piloting skills and Luka's personal training, gaining the callsign "Ursa Minor"
• Got into a lot of trouble, often breaking rules and curfew, but Luka bailed him out.
• By 24, he was made an officer and Luka's second-in-command in the elite Asterism Beta squad Relationships: Luka Sutter ("Ursa Major") - overbearing older brother and commanding officer.
