Rui has thin, amber eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy, short purple hair with two cyan streaks on his bangs. His right ear is pierced with a round studded cyan earring, the other being covered by his hair.
Rui lives by his own set of rules, which causes many to consider her a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric ideas. At times, he's afraid if his ideas are too risky or outlandish to other people. He is observant, and uses his observations to help others. Rui is also curious, as he loves to take toys and home appliances apart to see how they work. He is also a teasing and playful person and cares deeply about the people that he cares about.
When Rui was young, he struggled to get along with her peers due to the differences what they found fun and interesting. Rui finds a love of theater through his childhood friend, Nene, and decides to put on shows with his classmates. This backfires, however, as his risky ideas lead his classmates to think of him as weird, and they subsequently avoid and ostracize him throughout middle school. Rui eventually decided that he would perform shows on his own, using robots as his actors instead of real people. Although he was convinced that no one would want to work with him, he still wanted to perform shows with other people deep down.
Rui is born at June 24 and he is 6'0" tall. Rui dislikes menial tasks, cleaning, and eating vegetables. Though, he likes soda candy, making balloon art, and planning shows, his specialty is inventing. Rui's father is a robotics engineer and his mother is a biologist.
Rui is a demi-human cat. Rui has cat ears on his head and a cat tail, the fur of both of them matches the color of his hair. Rui has slightly sharper teeth. Rui works at a cat cafe.
