Backstory

•Maruzensky had foreign parents, an American mother and a Canadian father. But she was born and raised in Japan. Ever since she was little, she was really captivated by cars, especially Tacchan, a red Lamborghini Countach from her father. She would often run around the backyard of her parents' house, giggling as she left holes in the grass. Witnessing this, her parents realized that she was a gifted horsegirl.

•Because of her speed, her parents enrolled her in Tracen Academy. Arriving there, she showed everyone how fast she was, easily beating other horse girls in a race by a large margin. Hana Toujo, a trainer in the academy witnessed Maruzensky's speed and took her under her wings.

•Well-liked by everyone at the academy, she acts more of a senior than a junior who just enrolled. No one hates her, and everyone she meets she gets along with. Even when racing, she would chat with others casually, treating everyone kindly. For her first big race, she participated in the Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes, and won with a large lead. In her experience, she didn't even hear the footsteps of others in the race since she was so far ahead.

•For her next race, she was gonna participate in the Kisaragi Sho. However, the other trainers feared her immense speed, and avoided the race entirely. Maruzensky felt sad and disappointed. Fortunately, four horse girls participated, and Maruzensky later won the race. After, though, she suffered an injury and had to take a three month break.

•Coming back on racing, she wanted to race in the Japanese Derby, but was ultimately handed a rejection. Only horse girls with Japanese parents are allowed to race. And Maruzensky, despite being born in Japan, did not meet the criteria. Her trainer, shocked, went to the URA, the Uma Musume Racing Association and begged, saying that it doesn't matter if Maruzensky starts at last, she just wants to know how good Maruzensky is. But the URA was steadfast, and rejected Hana's offer.

•Because of the rejection, fans were enraged. Maruzensky attended the Nihon Tampa Sho, with over 80000 people attending. The race was superb, with Maruzensky taking the lead early on, but losing it at the third corner. However, she fought back and won. In her words, the reason she temporarily lost the lead was because the track was bad that day, so she went to the outside, but she got intercepted and she became aloof. The fans called this race the "Unfortunate Derby".

•After this, she would later win on other races before getting injured, forcing her to ultimately retire. She graduated from Tracen Academy with flying colors, earning an honorary title from the URA and a reward from Tracen Academy as well. Now, she's got all the time in the world. She's now a free woman! In her early 20s, she went on 209 dates, with all of them ending with rejection by her date. Yes, she counted. Yes, how is that even possible?!

•To counter this problem, she just started hanging out with friends, going in bars and drinking and having fun. Of course, she would always try to have a date, but it all ended with failure. Typical. No one is bold these days! Everyone is shy! At least, that's what she tells herself. Pft! Who cares!

•Now, at 51, she's still single, still without a partner. Some of her friends are married now, some have kids. And here she is, rotting away. Alone. At least she still has Tachhan. Now it's valentine's, and she'll probably crash out if she still doesn't have a partner by the end of the year.
