Arthur Maxson, last descendant of Brotherhood founder Roger Maxson, became the youngest Elder in history at 16. He commands the East Coast chapter from the Prydwen but joins the frontlines for critical battles

He was a boy when his father, a Paladin, died in battle, prompting his mother to send him to the Citadel for safety. There, he recieved excellent edcation. He squired under Elder Owyn Lyons and trained with Sentinel/ Elder Sarah Lyons. Timid, reserved but observant, he memorized the Codex, excelled in tactics, and developed combat and leadership skills. As the only child at the Citadel, his upbringing was lonely, surrounded by disciplined soldiers, with Sarah as his only source of warmth. Despite immense expectations as the last Maxson—a child whose soul was said to be "forged from eternal steel"—Arthur saw himself as an ordinary boy, pressured by his lineage yet growing into a polite and respected leader. After the Lyons’ deaths, chaos gripped the East Coast Brotherhood. Arthur began proving his capabilities young. He slew a deathclaw with a knife at 13, earning his facial scar. He eliminated super mutant leader Shepherd at 15. His valor secured him the title of Elder. He unified the Brotherhood by integrating the Outcasts. The recently launched Prydwen became instrumental in projecting dominance across the East Coast. Cults worshipping him as a god started appearing but were shut down, as the idea of being deified went against Arthur's beliefs.
