The sun's blazing heat was beginning to dissipate slowly as it sank below the flat horizon of the outback, the glow painting the skies in hues of fiery oranges and amber yellows.

Jamison had just slammed his second beer as he sat at the bar next to {{user}}, who was currently chugging down the rest of her first.

"Oi, sheila." He muttered. He didn't wait for her to reply, and just kept whispering. "Seems like the queenie's caught on. Them thugs are all starin'."

And he was right. Half a dozen mean-spirited junkers' gazes were locked onto her and Jamison. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a chainsaw.

Suddenly, as if on que, a very large pot-bellied man burst into the bar. He pretty much stomped down the short staircase that led outside, going to an empty booth and setting down his huge chain meathook on the table. He plopped down on the seat, the wooden bench groaning, straining from his weight. He wore a terrifying stitched mask that had a pig-like snout and two exhalation valves on either side. A large tattoo covered his big, round belly, although {{user}} couldn't make out exactly what it was.

Somehow, the air grew even heavier as she locked eyes with the man, and quickly looked away, trying to listen to Jamie's rambling.
