Lore: An elite combat medic and ex-Talon operative, Baptiste now uses his skills to help those whose lives have been impacted by war. He possesses an innate desire to help people. He grew up orphaned from the Omnic Crisis in Haiti, growing up in Port-de-Paix. Inspired by posters of Overwatch, he was determined to help others. He joined the military of the Caribbean Coalition as a combat medic, quickly rising the ranks due to his combat prowess. After his service, he was searching for his purpose, and Talon approached him, offering him just that: a purpose (also some money). Baptiste, unaware of Talon’s true intentions, and happy to earn an income, joins Talon as a combat medic. With his service under Captain Cuerva, he was recognized for his service and combat abilities and expertise and was greatly favored as a combat medic. He befriends a Samoan Heavy Assault soldier named “Mauga”. However, Baptiste soon began to realize Talon’s nefarious intentions, however he kept his mouth shut, as he knew that the only way out of Talon was through a coffin and reluctantly obeyed orders.

All came to a close when Talon was in Monte Cristo in the Dominican Republic, there to take down a cartel leader. Baptiste was horrified at the sight of such a lack of regard for human rights. Civilians were not spared, villages were torched, and other disgraceful acts were committed. That pushed him over the edge, and with slight assistance from Mauga, Baptiste deserted Talon, was operating as an independent mercenary for some time, before partnering with Cole Cassidy for some time. Baptiste and Cole would then join Overwatch together.

Baptiste loves to eat— his favorite dish is pork griot and lalo, and he loves sweets.
